In the grand scheme, no. I'm not sure why I'd be annoyed with it. I guess because they're masterfully done - I keep thinking "oh, the next one is where we see something great" - and then it's typically not. They're doing exactly what they're designed to do.

Are we looking up at a row of lifts (elevators)?

That thing at the bottom, between the clapperboard and the left of the photo – is that the roof of a lift with a rectangular light in the ceiling?
The belt hanging in a loop under the clapperboard looks like the sort of slack electrical belt used to take electricity to a moving lift.

I'm reminded a bit of Sanchez's casino in LTK, with Bond having to pass off as a waiter.

Crap. Sorry, but it´s annoying. I´m with Harkers on this. MGW made the site´s intro in December. We had these criptic clapperboard pics to tease us and a renegade picture of Craig´s bum, which was cool, the pic not the bum. If they released one official picture per month, we´d probably be happier and it would still, if handled carefully, be criptic and secretive, like the pool pic. Even if they released a clapperboard picture per day, we´d have almost nothing concrete to go on arguing about. Rant over. Cmon guys, give us another official picture, something to get the fans talking about. It´s been interestingly preposterous to discuss if some lines are meteorites and if a belt belongs to an elevator, ... I´m not saying they should stop this, by all means, do carry on, but at the same time, ...one official picture per month please.

Are we looking up at a row of lifts (elevators)?

Maybe. But it looks a bit too small for an elevator shaft.

Although it would be a nice touch if Bond out-wits an enemy pursuing him by going through the elevator shaft and exits on the floor with the martini bar.

I just wish we get official pictures.......something to talk about

These are official pictures.

Knowing at the very least the names of the characters would be a good starting point...

There's still the better part of a year to go until the film is released. And Sam Mendes has gone out of his way to keep as much of the film as possible under wraps. all you have to do is show a little patience.

Yeah, I've convinced myself of the same. They owe us nothing, but a film. They could release nothing until November 2012, and we wouldn't really have a right to complain.

That being said, previous productions have spoiled me. I really wouldn't say no to a nice, solid, iconic teaser poster about now.

I doubt many would protest it, but I think you're going to have to wait another month at least. I'm predicting late February for the teaser poter, late May-early June for the teaser trailer, and then early September for the theatrical poster and trailer.

They don't have to release these photos at all, so it's good enough of them to give us these little scraps. We'll get the good stuff in due time, it's just a matter of patience. I expect a poster in Feb.

I, for one, enjoy the clapper-board pictures. The thrill is in the chase - as they say - and trying to piece together the clues is as decent a way of passing the time until October as any.

I´m with you, Vauxhall. We have nine? pictures of clapperboards and I found them very original and intelligent (congrats for the publicity department!)

We are in January and the film will release in October, can we be angry with EON?? I don´t think so. We´ll have to wait and month after month our expectations will be growing... as it may be...

So - this is just crappy Just Jared, but we had a tweet about him in a Range Rover, on the other hand, this looks like a pic from those first shots, even though, this exact angle wan't shown back then. So, dunno...maybe finishing off something started back then.

Daniel Craig sits in a Range Rover on the set of Skyfall on Saturday (January 28) in London, England.

The 43-year-old actor reprises his role as James Bond in the action flick directed by Sam Mendes (pictured inside).

Here’s the official synopsis for the 23rd 007 film: “Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”

“There are some great Bonds but I think Daniel totally reinvented Bond and [made] it his own, which was very impressive and took a lot of guts,” his Skyfall co-star, Naomie Harris said.

Thank you very much Germanlady and TB, amazing pictures!

Considerations
Where: Exit from MI6 underground bunker.

Who: 007 and an MI6 agent (the driver)

When: around scene 53 ( more or less)

They were around Smithfield Market today to complete the shooting of the scenes they had already shot on the early days of November. Given the presence of a stuntment doubling for Daniel Craig in the Range Rover and given that the car has been properly modified they were obviously filming a stunt scene.

From what I can understand the action should expect either Craig coming out of the moving car or fighting with the driver and taking the control of the car.

We can deduce it because:

1. The camera has been mounted outside the car to shoot close-ups of DC; the camera remains in the same position when the stuntman takes his place in the back seat, so it is likely that the stunt is going to be performed by the double and then they'll add Craig's face in post-production.

2.The Range Rover has been modified in a way that the real driver is on the top of the car and the actor sitting in the driver's seat can safely perform an action scene without bothering to have control over the car for real.

I think that what we see in the picture are the hi-speed lifts of The Shard London Bridge!
What do you think?

ooooooh, screams Bond to me that observatory. It´s gonna be ready by May this year right? Tallest bulding in western europe? London´s never gonna look the same again. It HAS to be in a Bond film. One surely hopes you´re right Luigi! Nice find! Someone give this man a Spy-trophy of some sorts!
