I am guessing he will be playing a similar role like a assasin or henchman

Yeah, as far as I can tell, most of the major roles have been filled. I can't seem to find the character list, though, so I can't really hazard a guess at what role he might have. Maybe he's "Silva's Isolation Guard"; that's the only one I can remember off the top of my head. This chap - Ben Loyd Holmes - has tweeted that he has a role in SKYFALL. I'd wager that it's bigger than being simply an extra, but probably not something particularly major either.

Seems that this chap is the Isolation Guard - Jay Bailey.

There's a character fairly high up the cast list called Doctor Hall. I wonder if he might be playing that role? If he's in it at all that is.

At a late stage in the scripting process for Pierce Brosnan's debut outing as 007, a daring rooftop train sequence above a ravine was planned. The action would be a key moment in "GoldenEye", and former 007 production designer Syd Cain was brought on to create the storyboards for the complex stunt. As shooting neared, the set-piece was shelved.
As has happened many times in the past, such as the helicopter buzz saws eventually seen in "The World Is Not Enough", sequences once determined to be too costly or technically challenging are resurrected for a later film.
A variation on the stunt first envisioned back in the early 1990s will be seen later this year in "Skyfall", now being shot in Turkey. The location will be the Varda Railway Bridge in the Taurus Mountains.

Just curious. For what film was that scene of TWINE?

It's slightly different in the script to the storyboard image there, but I can see how they changed it.

Guess we'll be seeing some model work then.
Why? Maybe that's it. Doesn't need to be blown to smithereens.

.. promises to bring "brains and ambition" too to the role.
"I love playing strong, independent women onscreen and that's what drew me to the character of field agent Eve. She is very capable, intelligent and ambitious. She wants to be seen as the new Bond and that's what she is aiming for and I love that ambition in her," says Harris.
The actress believes that director Mendes, known for his films like American Beauty and Revolutionary Road, would add a lot of humour and layers to the story.
"Sam (Mendes) wants to add much more humour to the movie. He is fundamentally known for his relationship stories and that will reflect in this film too. He wants the audience to engage and relate with Bond more. It is going to be fantastic Bond movie. The stakes are bigger and better this time."
"I started training from October. I am off to Turkey now for more training. I learnt to fire machine gun for Miami Vice but most of the action that I did in the past was to get in shape. In this film I will be doing most of the stunts that I learnt during my training. I have never trained this hard for any movie."
Harris is hugely impressed with the dedication of her famous co-star Craig.
"He is fantastic, has great sense of humour but he is very serious at the same time. He trains for two hours after the shoot. He is very dedicated but also knows how to laugh at himself."

I'd reckon the Bognor claim is false though. Sure there would be more than one tweet on it if it was true.

I've seen nothing to suggest it's really true, or any pictures at all or credible details from the time. I think it was a single wind-up, which got picked up by tabloids who thought it was amusing.I read a lot about planned filming in Bognor Regis in a few papers, I thought it was true...?

It wasn't a wind-up picked up by the tabloids. It was a wind-up started by the tabloids. They saw that SKYFALL's filming had been limited to London and Pinewood, and so used that as the basis for an alarmist piece about how all the international shoots had been cancelled, and everything had been moved to the beaches at Bognor Regis instead, because that's what the tabloids do. It was peppered with the occasional truth - like the India shoots being cancelled (though for different reasons to what the tabloids claimed) - to sell it a little more. I don't know why people keep coming back to these ridiculous stories, anyway. They were debunked a long time ago. The local council in Bognor said that they hadn't received any requests for shooting from anyone, much less EON. That should have been the end of it.I think it was a single wind-up, which got picked up by tabloids who thought it was amusing.

Never heard of it... guessing they just moved the first sequence from Michael France's script all the way back to near the climax. Interesting. It's from Jeffrey Caine's script. Trevelyan stops his train on a wooden bridge over a massive gorge, which collapses under the weight, as Bond and Natalya escape from the train.
It's slightly different in the script to the storyboard image there, but I can see how they changed it.

It's not that scene. It's from the original version of the scene set in Trevelyan's private train following the tank chase.
If this new scene follows that script fairly closely, I think it should play out roughly something like this:
Bond and the villain fight on the train roof. The train travels onto the bridge.
The villain uncouples the engine from the carriages, leaving Bond on the carriages and him on the engine section.
The villain throws a bomb onto the bridge behind him, which explodes, blowing away some of the bridge supports, and causing a section of it to collapse.
Bond scrambles to get off the roof, as the carriages are dragged down into the gorge below.

"He was filmed sitting on a train, along with 250 other extras, in Charing Cross Station while James Bond, aka Daniel Craig, is being chased by the film's 'baddie' Javier Bardem."
