Outside Tate now. Filming is going on. Appears to be some sort of car sequence. Ben Collins is there in the Jag along with a car with a go camera and some London buses with adverts for Sony on the side.

No pictures I'm afraid- the set is open to the public (there is a sign saying if you walk past it you may be captured on film and waive your rights) so if by chance I get caught on film I dont want it cut because of me taking photos in shot. Nothing to take photos of which haven't seen before anyway. Looks like second unit work - unlike the posts above I can see no sign of Daniel Craig, and the productions vans are all fairly dull - no sign of any big winibagos which suggest stars on set

I nipped up there earlier: saw Judi and Rory in the Jag- it was quite bizarre having this large road with prop cars standing still, waiting to be told to go! And then when the shot's done an even more bizarre sight of traffic going in reverse, back to their starting places! Lovely day for it.
Might have got my mug in the movie; we'll have to wait and see!

What was interesting was that when I was leaving they were setting up lights on Vauxhall Cross; MI6 HQ. So presumably they're doing some night shots of it later. But there did appear to be some crew on the balcony of the building; could they actually have got permission to film on SIS property? That would be a bit of a coup.

There's the Air Ride " Dodge Ram Elite" Camera Tracking Vehicle of Bickers Action followed by the black Jaguar XJ there . They're really going to film a car chase.

No, they're not Just because Bickers Action is there it doesn't mean they're going to shoot action.

Bentley is VW AG, Jaguar is Tata motors, and then there´s the AM DB5. So I think it´s highly unlikely we´ll see a Bentley in SF. Besides, when would we see a Bentley? That would put Bond inside a car most of the running time of the film.

I did see quite a few Land Rovers of varying sizes on the set today! Quite a few Evoques knocking around. Seems to be Jaguar Land Rover all the way.

But there were loads of Alfas in the last movie, so I wouldn't rule out another car company's products in there.

I did see quite a few Land Rovers of varying sizes on the set today! Quite a few Evoques knocking around. Seems to be Jaguar Land Rover all the way.

But there were loads of Alfas in the last movie, so I wouldn't rule out another car company's products in there.

From what I understand, the other car company providing cars for the movie is Daimler-Mercedes Benz : Daimler hearses for the funeral scene, Mercedes sedan for the driving scene in Shanghai, perhaps a Smart car for the Bond girl.
A Bentley would be too much, in my opinion.

Saw them by filming today down by the Tate Britain around noon. Looked like they were preparing some close-up shots of two actors in the back of a jaguar. Saw a woman who could have been Judi Dench, slight resemblance but not 100% certain. Does Helen McCrory have spikey blond hair? Lots of Land Rovers all over the place plus taxis, buses regular cars so per other posts this must have been part of the car chase. That was Dench's stand-in. They were using her to get the cameras set up. Dench replaced her later.

Kinnear was in a blue suit with a raincoat when he was pacing around before the scene; I caught a glimpse of Judi but I couldn't remember what she was wearing. I'd say dark, but I forget.
