If you will excuse my saying so, I would not give too much credit to Mi6.co. For some time I realized that they are spying what I'm reporting on this board and sometimes they place it on their homepage. No objections, but it would be appropriate to verify the information before posting (as Shrublands taught me), and also I'd appreciate that they put my name in the credits.

yep I agree that they should put the copyright logo on because it is not theirs...someone over there got banned because Mi6 uses the picture and the lack of credit given and Mi6 use as it own.......something like that .

Yea I think they should give credit (mi6) but they wont....and I believe someone got banned because of this and the lack of credit given

They were filming a car chase indeed. The source is Bickers Action (http://www.bickers.co.uk/about-us.html), the company that is currently providing the equipment for filming the Skyfall's stunt scenes featuring vehicles.

I would not give credit to the rumor that they were filming at St George's hospital unless some other Twitter accounts confirm it. What we know for sure is that they were filming the car chase up on Ilkley Moor yesterday night.

Something just occurred to me - when the set photos of the Aston Martin shooting in Deptford were posted, someone (and I can't recall who, sorry), suggested that the scene might not be taking place in London, but rather in Scotland. With a car chase now being shot on Ilkley Moor, I think that theory now has some credibility, and Deptford may stand in for somewhere in Scotland.

This is starting to get spooky.

About 6 years ago, I wrote a Bond fanfic featuring a plot to smuggle a chemical weapon into British Parliament via trains in the London underground. There were two extensive chases set there, one on foot. There was a car chase featuring an Aston Martin on the Moors (of Ireland, though), because the villain lived there. In a refurbished castle.

Filming at Duntrune Castle in Scotland was scrapped, but about a week later, new reports emerged suggesting that production was scouring Wales, looking for another suitable castle. There has been no word on the outcome of that, though.

Nah, talking about that guy who took a picture with Mendes and spoke with the crew. He said the castle set build at pinewood was being used for Snow White and the Huntsman, and that all castle scenes in SF were scrapped. Of course I read that elsewhere and won´t vouch for its veracity. They guy also said that since the press conference, SF´s budget has been taken a bit down. Not sure I believe him though, he hasn´t exactly produced the said picture with Mendes. Who knows? All a bit misterious.

You actually know those forums a bit more than I do. Can you vouch for a guy named slyfox? Cause he´s up there saying things like only the second crew will go to Shangai, as all the interior scenes were filmed at Pinewood, and that the budget has been lowered, and that there won´t be any castle scenes, ... Everyone else seems to believe him overthere. I, for one, think I´m going to stick to Cbn for a while, like in the good old days, and like I told you. I suppose you will too. Cheers.

Anyone know what was going on up at the Cow and Calf today? Film paraphernalea, Land Rovers in roll-cages and ropes across the opening of the quarry...

No idea but they have made a real mess of the track leading up to the top of the quarry and have some Portacabins up there too.

its emmerdale , big scene apparently , meant to look like a crash where a vehicle fly s over the rocks.

they have planted trees, and bushes etc too, god knows the cost, there must be 50 people there every day this week setting it up.

He says that only the second unit will go to Shanghai, but I believe SKYFALL has no second unit - I'm pretty sure Sam Mendes is overseeing everything. interiors were likely filmed at Pinewood, but only because the sscript may call for something very specific that cannot be found in Shanghai; the art gallery and the Andean Grand Hotel in QUANTUM OF SOLACE were both sets at Pinewood. As for the lowered budget and the scrapping of the castle scenes, this is the first time I've heard anything about them (and even if the castle scenes have been scrapped, they will replace it with something else). I don't know what his source is, but if he's the person claiming he had his picture taken with Mendes and has so far failed to prove it, then I would not be taking him seriously. The longer it takes him to post that picture, the less crediblity he has.

Guy said he talked with the crew, although I think as you do, even the crew wouldn´t be that open about shooting schedules.

You're right; the room where Fields met her end was the Andean Hotel bedroom, which is what Arterton said she had to shoot first -- in London, probably towards the beginning of 2008.

Sort of wonder how they managed to have it look like you can see the Bolivian street from the lobby interior; don't know if that was shot in Chile or Pinewoods. If it was Pinewoods, they did a heck of a job without cutting from interior to exterior (as OHMSS did with the Gumbold's office scene)... I'll probably have to take another look at the movie sometime soon.

The exteriors were likely an actual hotel, redressed as the Andean Grand - kind of like the way Charing Cross station has been seen with new signage for Temple station in SKYFALL.

Dramatic Emmerdale Story being filmed on Ilkley Moor!


Nightime filming has been taking place this week for what is said to be a huge Emmerdale story to be aired later in February. The Yorkshire TV team have been filming dramatic scenes on night shoots on Ilkley Moor until 3am. Although they have been keeping exact details of the stunts under wraps for now, it is rumoured locally to involve some sort of major mock car crash. An insider reported "it's a top secret stunt - they've got a stunt crew, fire engines, paramedics on stand-by. They're really big scenes coming up in about six weeks' time which are top secret. It's going to be big."

Certainly, there have had some very powerful searchlights up there!

Filming has also been reportedly taking place on the moors above Silsden and Riddlesden.

An Emmerdale spokesperson recently confimed "It's a big dramatic storyline that will be on screen in February. It does involve a big stunt so we've had paramedics and fire crews."



It's not "Emmerdale" , as we know from Bickers Action that "Skyfall" was being filmed instead.
