Bonds parents killed by M. it wont ever happen but its still the only idea i have read in this thread that has a twist or hook the films makers claim is coming.

the bruce wayne special lol good point and it does sound to soapy. i was guest trying to think of some type of twist or hook they could be throwing at use.

To be honest, as much as i don't like it, this whole M had Bond's parents killed thing is exactly the sort of thing i could see happening.
Come on, its quite a massive twist, if a bit predictable. We've seen Bond go rogue, lose the love of his life and kill countless villains in their lairs. They need something new to happen, and i wouldn't put it past the makers to throw this in our faces when we least expect it.
Happy 50th birthday, Mr Bond.

Very, very good. All we need is a gunbarrel for those. Also, doesn´t Finney and Fiennes sound like a cartoon of some sorts? They did say the humour was back, didn´t they?

i figure it will be like when they introduced R in TWINE and then when Q was unable to come back for DAD they promoted R to Q
maybe ralphs character will play L and when judi isn't able to return theyll promote L to M

1) Evidence of "Skyfall" - which is connected to Javier Bardem - comes to light.
2) Albert Finney learns of this, and positions himself to oversee MI6 because of its potentially-embarrassing consequences.
3) After the attack on London/MI6, Ralph Fiennes is appointed to conduct a review of the agency.
4) Fiennes finds that M and Finney are embroiled in "Skyfall". He begins to suspect Finney has an ulterior motive, so suppresses evidence against him when he reports.
5) Finney uses Fiennes' evidence to have M stood down from her position, and attempts to take control of MI6 himself. He intends to keep his name out of it when "Skyfall" is discovered.
6) Proving that Finney is corrupt, Finnes supplies Bond with the evidence that Finney has his own agenda (which leads to the box exchange with Eve).
7) Bond contacts Finney, telling him that he has an "insurance policy" - if anything should happen to Bond, Finney's involvement in "Skyfall" will become public, unless Finney backs off; Finney's actions in keeping "Skyfall" quiet make it harder for Bond to take down Bardem.
8) Bond uses what he knows of Finney's role in "Skyfall" to convince him to retire gracefully, but he cannot hide M's part, and so is forced to give her up.
9) With no-one to lead MI6, Fiennes is offered the role.
I think this would make for a neat little sub-plot throughout the film, one that ties up all the loose ends and allows for a scenario where Fiennes can be retained as the new M if he wants to keep playing the part. If not, a variation can be written on his final scene where he rejects the offer without affecting the plot at all.

I still like to Bond confronting Finnery character in the manor house about his connection to the attacks
1) Bond shoots him to eliminate the co-conspiractor
2) Finnery is taken into Custody by Mi6 but public does not the truth
3) Finnery commits suicide

I have no idea what she will do. She may be a conspirator in "Skyfall", or an ally - someone for Eve to deliver the box to in the event that something happens to Bond.I like your idea.....what do you think Helen McClory character fit in the storyline.....she is a member of parliament...wonder how she fit in all this....
I don't like this. At all. Finney's suicide leaves too many unanswered questions for the public, and it would open up an avenue for M to stay in the franchise. Besides, it works best if he stands down in London. There's no need for Bond to shoot him - just a well-placed phone call warning him that he will be humiliated if he makes any move to stop Bond.I still like to Bond confronting Finnery character in the manor house about his connection to the attacks

That's the usual premise, so I hope not really. I'd prefer something a bit cleverer and different. Plus I'm starting to get the idea that the fate of M will be an important fulcrum of the finale.so do we think then the climax will be bond facing off against bardem's character in a fight to the death?

Perhaps, but if Jesper Christensen's reported quotes about the Bond franchise are correct, then I doubt they'll be rushing to have him back:i know they don't i meant bring mr white back in bond 24
"I admit that I regard [Casino Royale] and [Quantum of Solace] as really

"I admit that I regard [Casino Royale] and [Quantum of Solace] as really. All the people die in them, so two movies are enough for me."
But sites did report this later:
'Jesper Christensen explains that he was misrepresented at the Berlin Film Festival, saying “I have great respect for the people who make Bond films. They have managed to create their very own meta-universe, almost a genre in itself and a series of 23 films now. It is unique.”'
Still, the Quantum stuff is probably gone for good. It's just not well regarded enough after the last film . Even craig doesn't seem to like that movie very much. New villians and organisations are probably the future unless the Blofeld and SPECTRE rights are worked out.
