Was in Germany this week and read that the producers are planning to call the film THE PROPERTY OF A LADY. I like it. It's a Flemming title and I know it might be old news but I'm just sharing here.

Where did you read this? It would make my day if bond 23 was The Property of a lady.

That was a bit random. Care to tell us more Harry, at the moment all seems rather ambiguous.

after a bit of digging I cam across this Italian paper from a month ago suggests the Property of a Lady is a provisional title but not necessarily the actual title..

http://www.italiah24...e-del-2012.html

Perhaps this is what harry saw maybe not i don't know but all things considered I would like the property of a Lady to be Honest.

its been rumoured for ages that Bond 23 would be called TPOAL, way back when a apparent synopsis was leaked, linking Rachel Weisz to the villain role. Nothing really new.

Oh, I wish I could speak German MKB. As for gathering Intelligence. It's funny you should say that. But if I were to conferm I would have to kill you dear and by God you're too beautiful for that.

I'm supposed to be in France sometime this year and I hope your number is still the same ;-)

R

As for the title being TPOAL...Trust me guys - It is being seriously considered by the producers and the chances of them using it is 99% positive so lets all keep our fingers crossed.

Sorry, Harry, but I have the oddest feeling Bond 23 won't be called The Property Of A Lady. Or anything directly from Fleming, malheuresement.

You know full well that EON did not settle on QUANTUM OF SOLACE as the title of that film until 24 hours before they announced it to the world. So why would they suddenly know it before filming began? And why would they tell the Italians and the Germans about it when they're notoriously tight-lipped about everything?

Stop posting.

You're still peddling rumours as fact. What's next? Suggesting that because Craig and Rachel Weisz got married, Weisz will now appear in BOND 23? And that because of their relationship, Javier Bardem will appear alongside his wife, Penelope Cruz?

Must be reading different posts, I don't get he's presenting these rumors as fact, but simply as rumors. That's about all there is to talk about 23 at the moment, rumors and which ones might be real and which ones do we want to be real, etc. No harm in any of it IMHO. Relax. ;)

It's more the fact that he knows the rumours belong in the tabloid trash thread, but persists with posting them outside of it. The implication is that they have credibility because they're not in the tabloid trash bin.

Aren't all rumors trash until other wise proven true. all we have for South Africa is a twitter account by a professional soccer player I believe saying he sat next to Sam Mendes on a flight to South Africa and he was prepping bond 23 yet many believe it to be fact. Could it be true sure Should it be in the tabloid trash bin maybe?

I mean the validity of the 2 location rumors (India and South Africa) can be called into question. Meanwhile stories you said weren't true like News of the world saying Harris had been cast have been proven slightly true (she has been approached not cast, as far as I know, officially do I believe she will be cast and is in the film yes. Why? I am not sure how many busy directors are willing to meet with people who aren't in their films?)

so no captain a year ago did I run with every rumor sure now do I occasionally get swept up (like the comicbookmove rumor I posted a week ago) Sure of course everyone does but I at least tried to mature and grow and look at rumor for anything with a clear understanding of what is fact what is not and what could become facts. Please stop quoting and basing assumptions on previous record as I don't do that with anyone here.

thank you.

I might have missed something, like this was a fake report, but I have a July 10th article from the New York Times stating that both Bardem and Fiennes are "confirmed to appear, according to The Daily Mail." MSN picked it up as well as the Cinema Retro magazine page but no one else. Would like to think this is true.

No, it's just the NYT thinking the oft-rumored casting is true. Don't think there's any more to it than that.

Although I'm not sure BS stories from BS Indian BS websites are anything more than, er, BS.

Am confused by this BS thing.

Barbra Streisand?
Bible Study?
Bruce Springsteen?
British Standards?
Blue Stratos?
Britney Spears?
Behavioural Science?
Black Sabbath?
Baker Street?
Birmingham Simpleton?
Boy Scout?
Bombay Sapphire? - perhaps that should be Mumbai Sapphire, what a coincidence.

None of the above?

I think BS is an abbreviation concerning the waste product that emerges from the hind quarters of a bull. Also the staple product of certain red topped tabloid publications, not just on Bond films but most subjects. Sorry to be so graphic pre-breakfast time. :)

Just bought the Telegraph (News Of The World not on sale today for some strange reason. ;) ), and I've just read the piece, and the line "Much of the filming will take place in South Africa".

So we apparently have Bardem, Fiennes, and now Rhys Ifans (who in the photo with Craig is blonde with a bit of a fringe).

Carte Blanche? No, I don't think so. But, on the other hand.......

It's been a while since I last posted in here, so I am back.

I'd rather go with Ralph Fiennes though, to be honest. Nothing against Javier Bardem, I would just love to see Fiennes as a villain first.
