I haven't had any real problems with his Bond scores. I think he's gotten better with his last two. It might interest you to know (in case you didn't already) that Arnold isn't working on Skyfall, Thomas Newman is scoring this time out.

I think the posting on the official SKYFALL Facebook page asking fans who they'd like to perform the theme song pretty much rules out an instrumental personally, but I could be wrong.

I can't imagine that it'll be much longer before we know. It seems as though the identity of title song artist is a rather poorly kept secret, so I'm not sure why they're taking so long to announce it.

That's could be it, but the evidence does seem rather strong. I'd be shocked if she's not announced as the performer. She's certainly not my first choice (or second or third for that matter), but it does seem like the most likely outcome.

I was just checking out 007.com and noticed they don't have the "JAMES BOND WILL RETURN" counter anymore, I can't believe how close we are to the release and how little we know about SKYFALL.

This is the first film I've followed intensely and I thought by now the theme song would have been on the radio.

I seem to recall YKMN was released in September, AWTD in October...DAD also in October. But in each case, we were aware well before those dates who was singing them.

Also surprised we don't have anything yet. Which, to me, is just evidence it's going to be Adele and her pregnancy is skewing the timeline a bit.

Muse will inevitably be speculated about for BOND 24. They've been a popular suggestion throughout the Craig era. They could certainly end up doing a decent job - assuming they don't follow their recent dub-step experiments!

True, I'm not a fan of The 2nd Law. But I love The Resistance and Uprising sounds decidedly Bondish.
