If ANY band wasn't asked but Lady Gaga was, it wouldn't be a Greek tragedy. It'd be a SHAKESPEREAN tragedy. Othello, to be exact, because there would be multiple deaths.

I hope Gaga does it just so my fellow Bond fans can see what true talent she has, mainstream or not.

I've listened to it a bunch. I still think it's the worst Bond song we've had.I'm convinced that if a person can get through the first listening of AWTD and give it a second and third chance they'll find that it's one of the best songs ever in the Bond legacy.

Yeah, and if I keep hitting myself on the hand with a hammer, I'm eventually going to love the sensation. You're not trying hard enough. You can learn to like it.
No. That wins. I was thinking only of the title songs.Besides, are you really saying that it's worse than Eric Serra's "The something-something Of Love"?

Not sure A-ha completely endeared themselves to the Bond bosses first time round. And aren't they on their ninth final tour / album at the moment?I would love it if a-ha did the theme again, as slim as the chances are.

The script is started.lol i would laugh if the sun or some such magazing got wind of this and wound up creating a bond 23 rumor.. sure the production is halted and the script might not even be started but lets see who might be doing the theme song

I don't really think that Muse is "going to be an artist or outfit from this decade"- unless you're talking about the first decade of the 21th century-... the musicians that will become the icons of this brand new decade are not known yet by the mainstream.I enjoyed AWTD. I must admit I like all the Bond themes. And they all work really well accompanying the visuals of their respective Titles sequences.
Muse is a fair choice for the next theme. It's going to be an artist or outfit from this decade.
It amuses me to read people trotting out old dinosaurs like Rush, Yes, Depeche Mode. As if the last 25 years never happened.
