Is James Bond Bound For Afghanistan?

Am just hoping that Bond23 isn't going to be too much like TLD
I'd perfer that they went somewhere, where Bond hasn't been before. A snowy location for Mr Craig this time like Mongolia or Nepal.
And a break from the European locations - just for this film & the Carribean for that matter, would be cool as there's so many Asian counties he's not yet been to like Malaysia or Singapore.
And yes while I'm at it I'd like to promote Australia, Canada, and parts of the States he's not been to on screen yet. Chicago. Washington DC. Hawaii.
Even Mount Washington in Pittsburgh.
What? It's a pretty view!!

There's more than one Czech country?
Aren't there at least three or four?
Fair enough, I did mis-express myself.

BTW - Yes, I did wire that money into your Jamaican account under that "sock charity" you started. We'll just keep that quiet.

And most of them still went to the box office in their droves...Most John Q Publics didn't know what the hell "quantum of solace" meant so imagine their reaction to the word "risico".

Yes. Just like the obscure title "Octopussy" kept 'em all away in their millions...

Semi-unrelated note, how does everyone pronounce Risico? Personally I say risīkoh
I've always thought it was pronounced that way. I believe Mickey G pronounced it Re see- ko. He also pronounced Solace with the long O.
And Marc Forster pronounced it with an even longer O.

Very true.Just because some geezer who works in Afghanistan may have acted as a consultant for Eon Productions, it doesn't mean that BOND 23 will be set wholly or even partly in that country.
It also doesn't mean that it is Bond related story at all...(REMOTE CONTROL anyone?)
There will be a lot of these coat-tail stories emerging over the next few months...

Ah, yes. I can't wait to see how REMOTE CONTROL shapes up. I'd be fascinated to find out what Broccoli and Wilson are capable of doing outside the Bond series.

I still don't understand why people gripe about Quantum of Solace's title being confusing. I saw the trailer back last May/June and my only reactions, in order, were
1. HELL YES NEW JAMES BOND
2. Wait, when did it say it was coming out again?
But then I typically just roll with things. I don't pay much mind to a title. A title is a title. It's the narrative that counts.

I would love to see Bond 23 called Risico.
I would rather see Bond 23 called ZENCAT than Risico. ZENCAT is at least more mysterious and evocative than Risico. That has to be one of the worst, dumbest, most lame titles for a Bond novel/film ever. Risico is a worserer title than Quantum of Solace.
And if this foreign office operative signed a contract forbidding him from talking, why is he telling the media that he's been consulting with EON?
Ay, there's the rub.

Media could've figured it out through other means or he may not have a full confidentiality contract. There've been actors in the past who've signed a contract with a studio and been allowed to say they're working with XYZ Company but they can't disclose anything about the project itself. Now of course this doesn't account for some of the more detailed information, but it could be a combination of the two. Money's still on Door #1 - Media done it themselves. Sometimes I swear they have the CIA on their payroll.
