Not a great show by any stretch, but it manages to be quite entertaining.

The Soup
I love the "commentary" that the host makes about these "reality" TV shows.
I can't even believe the "reality" of these "reality" shows! lol

I have to say that I had a tear. It got to me, probably because i'm leaving college in 2 weeks.
Here's the ending...
It was the song that got me.

I'm afraid that dork of Kris Allen is gonna make it into finals along Danny Gokey, leaving Adam Lambert on the side. Too bad viewers are the ones who decide. Based on talent this show would have been over weeks ago.
If Lambert goes home, I'm boycotting the finale.

So next week is Lambert versus Kristie Allen. No contest IMHO.

Terrific stuff - lots of answers, lots of questions and lots of possibilities for the sixth and final season, which seems oh so far away.

The series is about to be canceled. But then Summer Glau never looked like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

They are not as funny as they used to be. Still watchable.

If you like this show, I just read that it has been canned by NBC.
Cancellations include "American Gladiators," "Crusoe," "E.R.," "Kath and Kim," "Kings," "Knight Rider," "Last Comic Standing," "Life," "Lipstick Jungle," "Medium," "Most Outrageous Moments," "My Name is Earl," "My Own Worst Enemy," "The Philanthropist".
CBS is said to be interested in buying it to pair it with Ghost Whisperer (which I don't care for) on Friday Nights.....we'll see.

You say The Philanthropist is being canceled? It does not even premiere until June. It is the show that James Purfoy left THe Saint to do.

I usually don't like these multi-story episodes (except the Halloween ones), but I thought the final part parodying The Fountainhead with Maggie in a daycare centre (with Jodie Foster as the voice of Maggie) was very well done and very cute. This episode got the lowest ratings a new episode of the show has ever seen BTW. I reckon this will be the next major franchise to bite the dust.
