Chuck: I'll give the show credit, they've managed three decent episodes in a row, which I didn't expect after eight or so straight terrible episodes to open up Season 3. Sadly, it doesn't appear as though they'll get the chance to keep that going into a fourth season, but at least now the show's a bit more enjoyable to watch, though. Still, I will say that I didn't like how the main conflict of the episode was resolved.
Noticed the little Casino Royale homage in last night's Chuck.
I don't doubt that it's going to be a huge part of the storyline, but given how much angst the season has had up to this point, and all of the "we don't like eachother anymore vibes" that have permeated the season thus far, I don't think that it's a wise creative move to keep moving forward with that. I think that they could have ended the angst by having
It is a shame, however, that the show has decided to go in the direction that it did. It's now finally starting to get to a point where it's a bit more enjoyable to watch, but the first eight or so episodes were so horrendously bad that, and the ratings are starting to tank, that there's most likely little chance of a fourth season. I will say, however, that I'm not nearly as upset about it this time around as I was last year, when a cancellation of the series would have been unwarranted. This time around, if NBC decided to cancel the show, I can't say that I'd blame them based on the total overall quality to this point, even light of the very good episodes we've had the last three weeks.
