It was great to see the Buy More crew up to their usual antics that have been missing this season.

The whole store going postal because they were afraid of losing the jobs that they normally bitch about was pretty good. Jeff gets weirder every time he is given a little screen time!

I watched Parenthood last night. I was hoping for more comedy and less drama out of this show for some reason. Obviously I will either need to adapt or find something else to watch while getting ready for bed!

24. Today: the taped Damages and The Good Wife. Good days for the tube!

Will you be getting down with FX's Justified?

The teasers sure look interesting. Can you tell me a little more about this, other than that it's said to be based on Elmore Leonard's work? The one problem I'll have is its scheduling on Tuesdays at 10, which is when The Good Wife plays. Every other Tuesday I work nights and can only tape one show...

Well I'm sure like most FX shows, it'll be repeated several times during the week. I don't know anything more about it other than the same ads you've seen during Damages, but it looks good to me and I generally like Timothy Olyphant, so I'll report in when it airs.

SURVIVOR. I'm hooked. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why the tribe of Villains doesn't throw an immunity challenge so they can go to tribal council...and vote off the rottenest apple of all: the truly evil Russell. Grrr!

Tonight's Chuck. Overall, a rather mediocre episode (although, in this awful Season 3, "mediocre" passes as "masterpiece"), and one that fails to deliver anything on its rather unique premise. I think that the writers failed on a wonderful chance to do some really brave storytelling here, instead opting to have a rather cliche way out of a tough situation, and then throw some more cringeworthy "do Chuck and Sarah love each other?" moments thrown in on top of that. One positive about the episode, though, was that Brandon Routh's Agent Shaw was nowhere to be found.

Angel, Season Five

Still going strong, although Season Five does have some weaker episodes. Nearing the end, the stakes are higher than ever. And the episode dealing with Ilyria´s rising... heartbreaking.

Like "BSG", "Angel" is a show that transcends its Genre in astonishing ways, dealing with humanity in the face of crisis. Harsher and darker than the excellent "Buffy", and at times even more funny.

Been fairly addicted to The West Wing since I started watching on Wednesday. By no means perfect, but certainly an enjoyable show so far.

I've been watching the new HBO miniseries, "THE PACIFIC". It's style is completely different from "BAND OF BROTHERS" and I mean that in a good way.

Castle: PHENOMENAL episode, quite possibly the best of the series. Can't wait for next week's conclusion, even if there's little suspense at the cliffhanger of tonight's episode. Dana Delaney was excellent in her guest star role, and Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion even raised their already outstanding performances for this episode.

Chuck: I'll give the show credit, they've managed three decent episodes in a row, which I didn't expect after eight or so straight terrible episodes to open up Season 3. Sadly, it doesn't appear as though they'll get the chance to keep that going into a fourth season, but at least now the show's a bit more enjoyable to watch, though. Still, I will say that I didn't like how the main conflict of the episode was resolved.

I don't doubt that it's going to be a huge part of the storyline, but given how much angst the season has had up to this point, and all of the "we don't like eachother anymore vibes" that have permeated the season thus far, I don't think that it's a wise creative move to keep moving forward with that. I think that they could have ended the angst by having

It is a shame, however, that the show has decided to go in the direction that it did. It's now finally starting to get to a point where it's a bit more enjoyable to watch, but the first eight or so episodes were so horrendously bad that, and the ratings are starting to tank, that there's most likely little chance of a fourth season. I will say, however, that I'm not nearly as upset about it this time around as I was last year, when a cancellation of the series would have been unwarranted. This time around, if NBC decided to cancel the show, I can't say that I'd blame them based on the total overall quality to this point, even light of the very good episodes we've had the last three weeks.
