Also, tonight's episode of Flash Forward. An OK episode, but I think that they're rushing through the storyline a bit too fast. There could have been some interesting episodes had they really taken their time and slowly moved through the chain of events rather than trying to rush forward to a quick resolution to it all. Still entertaining, but it also feels a bit like a missed opportunity.

I don't know about whether it feels rushed or not, but I know that they've planned the show out for a minimum five seasons, so they definitely have more stuff planned after April 29 (the first season's not even done by then).

I think that the show would have been more interesting had they spent a few episodes simply dealing with the immediate aftermath of the disaster, and then slowly uncovered what actually happened to everyone during that time rather than everyone figuring it out within about fifteen minutes and then moving on. After the first episode, I haven't really gotten the sense that the characters are operating in a world that has just witnessed the biggest global disaster in history. In that sense, they're really rushing the storyline.

Ever since the new transition to Digital TV, I haven't watched much TV.

The last show I watched was King Of Queens. Pretty funny B)

The post-Saint pre-Bond Roger Moore series The Persuaders. It was the episode with Catherine Schell(Nancy from OHMSS), Bernard Horsfall(Campbell from OHMSS) and Laurence Naismith(Sir Donald from DAF).

I saw a brief moment of Eagles vs Raiders. Do not like either team, and thus turned TV off. However, I will be quite glad to go into school tomorrow. Eagles were down 3-10 (to the Raiders of all teams) with thirteen minutes to go until the end of the game. In a scenario like that, no doubt a team like the Patriots or my beloved Steelers could turn things around, but the Eagles are just terrible, as no doubt this game exemplifies. That is the one advantage to living in a Philly suburb. Often I have to put up with the fanboyish gushing of most people over the Eagles, but when they lose, oh that is a sweet desert.

House S6, ep1

One of those shows where the central performance is far better than the script or premise.

Are you something of a fan then Ambler?

I watched a few episodes of the first two season, but even Hugh Laurie could only keep me interested for so long...

Last night's episode of Castle. One of the best in the series thus far, and it has some of the best Castle/Beckett interactions in the entire series, especially those right at the end of the episode.

Also, there's some Bond "references" in the episode. Castle is told at the beginning of the episode that he's wanted to write the next three novels about "a certain British spy", and a big deal is made about that throughout the episode. Great stuff, and some rather funny moments based off of it.

The amazingly powerful, Jonathan Frakes-directed, episode of 'Dollhouse' last night. B)

If you got off this train already, I think it's time to reconsider.

If you only now want to get your hands on some quality television, sadly you have to wait... the next episode (featuring Summer Glau) is on December 4. BUT, you can watch and catch up via iTunes, Hulu and Fox on Demand.

A few that I've seen:

This week's episode of Glee. Probably one of the weaker episodes so far, but it did have some very good moments between individual characters, and a pretty good, feel-good ending. Not a bad episode by any stretch, just not amongst the best the series has had in its stellar first few episodes.

The last episode of Dexter. Season 4 is shaping up to be the best yet, thanks in no small part to John Litghow's creepy turn as this season's antagonist. He hasn't had a huge amount of screen-time thus far, but what he has had he's made the absolute most of. There's been some great surprises as well, and all-in-all it's shaping up to be the best season yet of the show (IMO anyway).

The game ruined my day/week/year...
at least we can take comfort in the fact that pool beat us twice last season and we STILL won the league.....

White Collar, a new show. Not bad, not bad at all. But the slightly too intended star-turn by the pretty boy lead was a little offputting for me. I'll give this one a few more tries to see how it develops.
