B)

I've been flipping between the game and Ed Edd n Eddy, but both have just been background noise.

Catching up on stuff I have had DVRd. The last 2 nights I watched the first two episodes of White Collar, like most of USA's shows, pretty good. I just wish they would show more of the old Jag they had in the first episode B)

Spicks & Specks - the best of.

For any UK members, imagine "Never mind the Buzzcocks" but alot funnier and happier.

Been watching the second season of Ed Edd n Eddy. Easily the best show of my childhood (although Johnny Bravo has grown on me considerably now that I'm a teen). They just don't make 'em like this no more.

Last night's episode of Glee. Maybe one of the best yet, although, perhaps, not one of the stronger episodes musically. It's good to see that they finally got the rest of the cast involved instead of just letting the adult characters as well as Lea Michele and Cory Monteith carry the story as they have thus far. Dianna Agron and Kevin McHale were excellent in this episode, and hopefully the writers give their characters more to do in upcoming episodes because both could easily be the next breakout TV stars.

I used to love Trigger Happy. Particularly the prank where they wait on a guy to enter an adult store and then set up this huge "100th Customer" banner outside with a brass ensemble and formally clad host and hostess, waiting for him to come back out. Hysterical.

I caught this last night; altho it's not one of my fave shows of the new season, I am sticking with it; Jane Lynch is magnificent in it!

The pilot for Chuck. Watching 1-2 episodes a week from season 1 up to January 5, when the season 2 dvd is released. Hoping to get through all of the episodes again before the show returns in (hopefully) January (as the current rumor says, anyway).

Episode two of Place of Execution. One of the twists was a bit evident near the end of the first episode, but really didn't see the other one at all. Outstanding. Kind of wish it were longer than two episodes, but then it's not really the sort of story one can break up for very long.

Come Dine with Me, the British cookery show where 5 strangers cook dinner parties for each other over the course of a week.

Currently playing every night on Australia's Lifestyle Food Channel.

I love Dave Lamb's hilarious commentary!

Have Gun, Will Travel After viewing Disc One of the multi-disc first season, this show already ranks at the top of my all-time favorite shows. To begin with a correction: each episode begins with Richard Boone seen not from the neck but the waist down. The emphasis is on his holster first, the one near-rifle-length gun. As he draws the gun, he speaks one classic bit of dialogue from the episode. And, man, does the dialogue sparkle. There's terrific variety in the plots of the shows and Paladin grows in depth and complexity while still remaining a mystery. The shows abound with cameos from actors and actresses soon to be well known: Charles Bronson, Mike Connors, Angie Dickinson, Strother Martin, Jack Lord, etc. Gene Rodenberry wrote one of the best episodes I've seen and went on to write 19 more. Paladin is charming, deadly, compassionate, cruel, warm and cold as ice; he's a noble man who works for a steep fee, only occasionally waiving it. In his own way, he's an interesting precursor to our Bond.
