The Office.

I was watching movies last Wednesday so I missed out on the new Office so I finally decided to watch it online. It was worth it, the show is still funny. I'm really liking this season so far.

Dexter, Third Season. Still a very compelling show, a brilliant mix of thrills and satire, with very believable characters. Michael C.Hall is fantastic. I could imagine him being a Bond villain, by the way. Thoughts?

The Good Wife. This one gets better week by week. And the central issue gets still more complex: Chris Noth's cheating husband is definitely guilting of consorting with a hooker. And he deserves his time in jail. But slowly, week by week, more evidence is mounting that he's been set up on other charges that prevent his winning parole. The acting's top notch. And, no matter how many other lawyer shows you've seen, TWF remains quirky, fresh and moving...and finely acted all around.

Last night's episode of Glee. While I've primarily enjoyed the show for it's over-the-top comedy, tonight's episode was almost completely void of any humor whatsoever (aside from a few chuckles sprinkled throughout), and I think that it may have actually been the best episode of the season. While I think that Lea Michele is easily the best singer on the show (and one of the best in the pop genre right now) and is right up there as one of the very best actors on the show, Dianna Agron is really starting to catch my attention as an actress to watch. She and Cory Monteith's character were the focal point in this episode, and both performed exceptionally well, especially Agron. Fantastic episode.

I think that it should also be said just how truly gifted these performers on the show are as a whole. Their covers of some truly great songs are just outstanding, with some of them even besting the originals (Lea Michele's cover of "Taking Chances" and Cory Monteith and Lea Michele's cover of "No Air" come to mind).

Episodes 2 & 3 of the first season of Chuck. Trying to get all of the episodes watched again before the show's season premiere, the date for which was just announced as being on January 10, 2010. The premiere on 1/10 will be a 2-hour premiere, with a third episode airing the next day in the show's regular timeslot (Mondays, 8pm). Can't wait!

Scoop: 'Chuck' returns January 10!

Last show I watched attentively was Doctor Who, but I've got Everybody Hates Chris running in the background, pretty much just 'cause I can and I'm bored.

Wow thats a lot of Chuck for the premiere.

The Prisoner

Since buying the Blu-Ray of this great 1960's British show I saw some parts of the episodes and am shocked as to how great they look in HD. It's a leap in quality when compared to the R1 DVD release and hopefully something similar can be done for other popular British shows like The Avengers or The Saint.

That is a lot for the premiere, and I'm so glad that NBC is finally giving the show a real chance to succeed. A two-day, three-episode premiere is a rather big deal, and it's great to see NBC finally giving Chuck that kind of attention. Also, as shown through the last few days, they're finally promoting the show in an adequate way, which can only help its ratings. Hopefully this is the season where the show starts to catch on and hopefully it'll be enough to get NBC to order a fourth season.

Now you know how I felt all those years I lived in Texas

Stupid Cowboys...the best part was, last year they had won their first three (or perhaps four games). So what does the press do? Start proclaiming this is going to be the season where they go undefeated. After that they started sucking. Stupid Cowboys.

Catching up on some episodes of this season of Dexter. Solid episodes, and John Lithgow is excellent in his role. Very creepy, one of the better TV villains in a while.

Last night's episode of Castle. Excellent, as always. Hopefully things are going well enough with the show to get it to a third season, because, from a creative standpoint, it really deserves to keep going.
