Writing which teeters between insipid and vulgar. The kind of writing that would now attempt to make a teet joke out of that word 'teeters' I just used.
No thanks.

Eastwick; OK..will give it another shot but definitely not blown away
Community; very ordinary; have already dropped Vamp Diaries after 2 eps and this could be the next to go
Modern Family; ok, but not as good as hoped
Good Wife; much better than I expected; will def give it a few more eps
House; excellent; last season was the best so far imho anf this season is starting off at the highest level..
The Office; great as always.
still awaiting being watched; Parks & Rec, Flash Forward, SNL, Dollhouse, SoA etc etc..damn tivo is down to 12%!!!

Flashforward - pretty cool concept for a show. Hopefully I'll be able to fit it in amongst all the other shows I'm surprisingly drawn to.
What are those other shows, if I may be so bold...?

Family Guy - Now that's a season premiere! The "multiverse" idea was genius, and some of the alternate realities they landed in were side-splitters, in particular the Disney parody and "real world" Stewie and Brian.
The Cleveland Show - Hmm. Don't know if I liked it. One genuine laugh, about white people writing movies for black people. Could be a case of needing a few eps to find its footing.

I haven't seen it, but I just kind of find it bizzare they've made it at all. When it was announced, did anyone really think/say "oh boy, they're doing a spin-off for my favourite character!" That said I did laugh at the tailer a couple of times.

Yes it was a bit of an out of left field choice for a spinoff character (as noted by Stewie in the pilot). I would have preferred Joe Swanson getting his own show, as a wheelchair-bound action hero cop, presented as a parody of cop shows. Anyway, we'll see. American Dad wasn't much good at first and now I think I prefer it to Family Guy, except for the occasional brilliant FG episode, as happened on Sunday.

I'd never seen it before because it ran from 1971 to 1999 (before I lived in Australia) but I'd heard lots about it. It was funny. They should bring it back for good.

One of those shows where the central performance is far better than the script or premise.
