Yes, in fact, I'm enjoying it--and was puzzled by the jabs from various media. The show's been growing on me and I hope they give it a second season to catch on.

Very disappointed by the second series so far.
The first series of The Fixer was interesting because it emphasised the relationships between the characters over the action, in the same way The Sandbaggers did way back in the late 1970s. Take that dynamic away - as they have done this time around - and all you're left with is the usual generic rubbish.

Bought the first season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Love this show, easily my favourite comedy series of all time. I kind of hope the weather will turn bad so I can stay in and watch it, it's really addictive.
...And the new season looks outstanding; my fave series still remains Season 3 (the restaraunt series),and the last episode of that series remains my fave episode, but the new one looks like it could run it all the way..

Caught the season premiere of GLEE last night. Quite good, actually, and it was good to see that they had a musical number (Rihanna's "Take a Bow" sung wonderfully by Lea Michele, who is going to become a huge star thanks to this show, whether the show lasts a while or not) that didn't disappoint after the terrific rendition of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" in the pilot that aired in May.
This is a show I would have no interest in watching based on the TV ads and premise, but my wife wanted to watch it so I reluctantly sat down to view it with her. I enjoyed it, not quite what I was expecting. It is just twisted and quirky enough to be entertaining.

I normally don't have much interest in these type of shows either, and I especially wasn't expecting much considering it's on FOX (there's only been one FOX show that I've ever watched, which was BONES, but I gave that up after about a season and a half). I watched the premiere in May solely because I thought that the rendition of "Don't Stop Believin'" was fantastic and I wanted to hear it in its entirety, and the show actually turned out to be reasonably entertaining, certainly better than a lot of shows that are returning to the schedule this season, other than CASTLE and the very distant premiere of CHUCK.
I think that they've got something going with this show that FOX hasn't had in quite a while, which a show that genuinely feels fresh. Jane Lynch is absolutely hilarious in this show, and it's great to see her in a larger part after several seasons in a supporting role in TWO AND A HALF MEN as Charlie's psychiatrist. Plus, I think that the show is going to launch Lea Michele to superstardom, whether it be as a TV star or as a singer. She's already proven in only two episodes that she's extraordinarily talented at both.

I'll pick up season 3 on DVD then, I am yet to see it. I've seen all of season 2 on DVD and season 5 recently finished airing on TV here. They were both brilliant. Tonight I've seen four episodes. Like I said, it's incredibly addictive once you pop it into the DVD-player.
I'm immensely looking forward to see what kind of embarrasing situations David can get out of the Seinfeld reunion.
Now, enjoy the greatest video in the history of mankind:

Just finished the first two episodes of season one of LIFE ON MARS (UK Edition). I love me some British shows.
I loved LOM. Certainly recommend moving on to A2A when you've finished, though as you'd probably expect, it's not quite as good. At least not judging by the five episodes I've seen thus far.

Have any of you seen SONS OF ANARCHY...and is it worth a look? The second seasons started here on Sept. 8. Is this the sort of show where a new viewer can get quickly up to speed?

Rather than start a new thread (What TV shows do you plan to watch?), I thought I'd simply ask:
Have any of you seen SONS OF ANARCHY...and is it worth a look? The second seasons started here on Sept. 8. Is this the sort of show where a new viewer can get quickly up to speed?
Havent seen the first ep yet, but series 1 was outstanding;
Great perfs across the board; Is it a bit cliched at times? sure (Hamlet on motor bikes! kinda like 'Sopranos' was Hamlet in the Mob!) but it's also really well made and very compelling...I ureg everyone to give it a shot...

Positively brilliant. Just outstanding. Cannot wait for the series to begin airing, and am now all the more giddy as I've just learned it's presently set to begin airing the day after my birthday.
