Thanks for giving us a taste of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service on HD, Joe Bond. I somehow missed that post. The Blu-ray cannot come soon enough.

I bought OHMSS in HD from iTunes and wanted to give fans of the film a little taste of what the blu-ray will look like by posing some screenshots:

And here's one from the YOLT HD version from iTunes

thank you for posting. I'm anxious for news about the rest of the Bond films on blu ray..

Is it true that if Connery had filmed "OHMSS", Brigette Bardot would have ended up portraying Tracy?

It is true that Brigitte Bardot and Catherine Deneuve were initially offered the role of Tracy. Miss Bardot ended up making the western Shalako with Connery instead.

Seeing how today marks the 40th Anniversary of OHMSS's release in America, I thought I'd show my favorite scene in the film:

The above scene is certainly one of my favorites, as well.

Also, I thought many of you would like to take a gander at some of these photo galleries featuring images from the movie:

I had just watched this movie, late Saturday night. Result? Weeped like a baby at the end. It's still a great movie.
