New things you picked up on

I picked up on much more of the humour.
I also noticed that more Alfa Romeos (Same kind as the PTS) were parked outside of Greene's HQ in Hiati.
I noticed that Bond and Camille were looking up angrily at Greene, in the long shot of the audience after he delivers his speech at the Fundraiser.

Forgive me for hijacking this thread but does JAMES BOND WILL RETURN appear at the end? I've yet to see the film.
Yeah it appears right at the end of the credits.

Is there a scene where Bond switches to the PPK from the P99?
He has a PPK during the fight with Mitchell and at the end of QOS.

I don't believe so. Or if he does, we don't see it.Does Bond wear a shoulder holster?

It's actually an entirely different suit than the one at the end of CASINO ROYALE. Similar in striped-pattern, but the cut is different, and as you noted, there's no vest. This is due, I'm sure, to the change in tailors.- Doesn't Bond wear a blue vest under his suit at the end of CR because in the PTS he isn't wearing one.

In the gunbarrel sequence, Daniel Craig's wearing a suit instead of a tuxedo.

You think Bond would have had time to have a change in Suit? How far is Lake Garda from Sienna?

Where does he store his gun then?I don't believe so. Or if he does, we don't see it.Does Bond wear a shoulder holster?
It irritates me that Bond's gun magically appeared during the chase in Italy in Casino Royale.

You mean Quantum Of Solace, right? I saw it for a second time three hours ago, and I noticed this time that he takes it out from the inside of his jacket as Mitchell slams the grids in front of him in the aquaducts.
The action sequence's became more intense and detailed, especially the car chase.
To me, Quantum Of Solace was even more fantastic the second time. It actually exceeds Casino Royale in my opinion, and it is my favorite Bond film at the time.

When Camille is trapped in the fire, you can here faint screams coming from the building when she is sitting terrified, it sounds like the screams of a small girl, probably the ones coming from Camille when she was trapped in the burning house as a child.

I figured that through everything in Siena, Bond was indeed wearing one. We don't see one when he takes his jacket off upon the La Paz arrival, which is perfectly acceptable. No spy would be stupid enough to carry a Walther in a shoulder holster through airport security now, would they?
One thing I noticed was that Bond's shirt is stained with blood when he and Camille arrive at the DC3, yet when he dumps Mathis, no blood. Where did the blood come from in between? I know it's clearly meant to be Mathis' blood - just thought it was funny.

While I know that Bond is being very nice to say such kind words towards a fallen comrade, I wonder what kind of bravery Fields has really demonstrated?
Trying to stand up to Bond?
Booking the run down motel instead of a good one?
Dare to be seduced by Bond?
Not telling people her first name?
Tripping Elvis down the stairs?
Or face the oil?
I only wish the writers gave Fields a meaningful role in the story so Bond's request actually makes sense.
To me the most likely report Fields will ever get was the one from Yahoo Movies (on Bond Girls):
"Fate: Top secret - M's eyes only"

Yep, I mentioned that in my review. I was surprised that not many people seemed to pick up on it in the movie.Something I thought was brilliant, I bet not many people have picked up on this but...

Well, she told Quantum nothing for a start. Granted, she probably didn't know anything anyway but the fact that she refused to give information is very brave, especially at the hands of Greene.
Plus the fact that she didn't try to escape, she standed her ground and left Bond a warning.

I've always assumed he uses the style of holster that sits at the small of the back clipped in the waistband, didn't we see he wore one when he was chasing Molloka in CR?

I loved this one.
When Bond is asking MI6 for a name check on Dominic Greene, he spells out the surname. The screen is obviously working on speech recognition technology, as when he begins to spell it he says GR, and GR pop up.
However, then he says Double E. The screen reacts by first typing W, thinking he was about to say W. But when he continues with his EENE, it reverts almost immediately to EENE.
Very clever stuff. Who else noticed small details the 2nd, 3rd or 4th time around?
