No problem Nicolas.. Sorry if I came off sounding a bit annoyed, I didn't mean to.. I too get so excited about such little details like the gunbarrel and titles that sometimes I have to catch and remind myself to not judge the entire film by how good the gunbarrel and titles are.. Particularly now since we've had a lot of people complain about the action, the script ect..

It goes way to fast. The gun barrel is supposed to be slow and steady, not fast and lame.

Hardly that bad. Is a bit fast, though. Usually the guitar bit plays when Bond shoots- Craig gets there a bit early! :( But then the Brosnan one was too short post-bang for the whole guitar riff to ever be played, so that's the way it goes, it seems.

Haha, Craig's pose looks like the pose from the "Nightfire" gunbarrel .

It is too fast... not sure why in the world they decided to do that.

About 2 seconds slower on the circles across the screen would help greatly.

Strange... you would think that they would have cut the music to where it fit better... not only is it fast the music makes it appear off sync.

Poor job.

They need to retool it for Bond 23.

I saw the gunbarrel, and I loved it. Everything about it... from the classic design, to Craig's business-like walk and aggressive fire, to the quick-falling blood, to its turning into the "Quantum of Solace" title card.

I also love how, if you catch it, when it pulls out you can see that the blood has fallen in a stream far below the gunbarrel. Nice touch.

My thoughts exactly :( I love this newness in Bond, been a while since we had it, lets have MK12 back for the next one :)

It was really refreshing to see Bond wearing a suit in the gunbarrel. The first time since The Man with the Golden Gun if I remember correctly. :(

Does he really wear a suit and not a tuxedo? Damn I can't wait to see it (just as a little voice inside telling Mr. Somerset to get over his gunbarrel fixation and get a life!!!!!!)

He wears a suit. Definately.

I cannot believe that this is leaked on youtube already.

MUCH better than Casino Royale. Guys, I think they're finally making some progress. Well, with the gunbarrel of course. Need to get back on track movie wise for Bond23.

Gunbarrel on youtube. Looks great to me... He walks a bit fast, but I dont mind it. New look to the gunbarrel is also nice, something new and fresh. I also like the rerto feel to the theme, almost like the early Connery gunbarrels... I approve :(

Yeah, I saw it too. As has been said, it's quick, but I don't think Bond looks like a chav. More that he's angry, if anything else; he looks like he's got a problem with the neighbours downstairs and wants them all to know it by stomping on the floor.

Kind of disappointing; stills from the shooting showed him reaching for his gun in its holster, and I was hoping that would be the case: instead of turn-and-fire, a kind of turn-draw-and-fire.

Okay, I have now seen it, thus spoiling the actual moment when I first view the film. I must say visually, I liked it. Looks more like a trailer gunbarrel, though, especially with the the film's title and all. However, a traditional GB, it is. Craig's walk looks fairly determined, kind of reminding me of Moore's LALD strut. I liked his suit as well. As for the blood, I must see it in the theatre to judge. Youtube doesn't exactly do the image justice. I didn't watch it with sound, though. That I'll wait for the actual film.

By all means this gunbarrel suits the tone of the film. Craig shoots this sucker dead before he knows what's going on.

Bond's back, over Vesper and meaner than ever. They could have just had the QoS title card ala Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, but they threw in a quick gunbarrel for us. Craig's walk and pose are fine, and MK12 have done themselves proud.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but I'm fairly sure that the music on the "leaked" gunbarrel is not actually the music as shown in QUANTUM OF SOLACE. Which explains the bad syncing.

Having seen the big screen gunbarrel twice however, I must admit to not noticing 1) that Bond exits screen left after shooting, and 2) that he's wearing a suit. So much for my skills of observation...

That youtube version...is it really that fast? That looked almost like it was in fast forward. Don't get me wrong, I thought it *looked* amazing, it just moved at a Keystone cop pace.

It's not really quite that fast in the cinema, is it?

Well, I think it's a given. Everybody that has seen the film has noted the pace of this gunbarrel. The scene that played beforehand was in normal speed, too.

Maybe I saw the wrong clip. I just saw dots and the gunbarrel, and the resolution was pretty lame. There were also Japanese characters in the corner.

I think that the music is the one used.

And yes, it is quite difficult to spot Bond walking off. The Gunbarrel has nearly transitioned to 'Quantum of Solace' you can just make it out.

A clearer version has been put out there, and the barrel actually has a blue tinge to it. Looks really splendid.

Yeah, that one seems more accurate. I think the audio is synced better too.

This imo is the best gunbarrel. Bond walks and shoots and then the circle forms into a Q and inisde it we see Bond walk off, with the Bond theme playing througout.

I was about to say that. Yep, reminds me to the NightFire & Everything or Nothing games.

Absolutely love it! It's fast and has a sense of urgency and a very vintage feel. Being a self appointed gunbarrel-purist, I'm very happy the way it turned out. The GB is one of the highlights for me in each Bondfilm, a good film on top of that is a very nice bonus! And what a good film it was...

I still cannot get past the chavvy shoulder roll. Yuck.

Ok, I've seen the gunbarrel numerous times now to be confident enough to ask, What in the HELL are you on about? Chavvy Walk? I have no idea at all where you're getting that from, his walk is fine, the gunbarrel is fine, the design if fine. Everything is fine.

Yeah, the music reminds me alot of From Russia With Love.

I think we should all be glad that what ever the gunbarrel has craig doing, it's still the traditional gunbarrel in terms of the way it looks.

I haven't noticed the blue on the cinema. I've seen the HD version on Youtube, now I notice it.

In my humble opinion, my favorite gunbarrel sequence of them all. The music is great, the gun barrel design is nifty and Craig looks very cool in it.

Good show!
