Ah. Yes, the first version I saw on Youtube was indeed slightly sped up.

Now I've seen a much clearer version, and it looks natural. Better than that, it looks wonderful. Yes, Craig's walk is, shall we say, "purposeful." And I like that; it's much more in character for him than a Laz-swagger or a Brosnan runway walk.

Actually I like the gunbarrel (in this specific case) at the end of the movie. He said, he "never left". That may be the key phrase for Bond becoming "Bond". I also like the design. Great !

When the Barrel turns into the Q covered with a kind of "globe lines" I felt like seeing a SPECTRE-Logo. Maybe it was intentionally for introducing Quantum as Non-copyright-SPECTRE-replacement.

What are your thoughts about that ?

It's great to see the gunbarrel back, of course. Even if it's in the wrong place! I don't like Mk12's work though and would like Kleinman back. Also, I think the speed of it all reflects the general speed of QOS (too fast). Craig is perfect, though. And the music. We're getting there.....

Love it. Craig moves like a man on a mission (as opposed to a tux'ed-up model on a catwalk or a geriatric pensioner in need of a zimmer frame) and it's place in the film bookends the Casino-Quantum arc perfectly. It also looks pretty darn good.

Good work Mr Forster & MK12.

A HQ version of the gun barrel is out there, and it really does just get better and better. The blue-ish colour of it and the blood oozing out of the Q are a lot more visible. The speed of it is 100% fine as well. One of the best of the series, I think.

In my opinion Craig's gunbarrel pose looked a lot like Dalton's.

It did indeed. Watching the gunbarrel again, it is clear that his walk is not fast at all. It just seemed fast because it was in the cinema. It's definately at normal pace.

...but 'Connery' looked like a fat cow in the FRWL Gunbarrel...

...and, and, he walked like a tortoise with a fedora.

But back to CraigGunbarrel:

Shameful that he only wears a woollen tie when it shuld 'of' bin :(in' silk! :)

Thirded; it looks even more Daltonesque when dubbed over with the TLD gunbarrel theme... :(

I've watched it today for the 4th time in the cinema, and the barrel's NOT BLUE. It's grey. Perhaps that's a mistake in the contrast and brightness.
