I think Bond 23's title should be "Never Say Forster nor MK12 Again"

Nah, that was a pre-existing composition. It's not Arnold's. Just look at the date of the video. Is this the music of the GB? I haven't seen the movie.

Fast White dots move left to right. Enter Craig stage right, walking pretty quickly, fires shot, blood dribbles down, gunbarrel moves, Craig appears to walk off stage left.
The music is Very Very similar to the FRWL Gunbarrel, only with a proper orchestra and High brass.
If you hear the 'Da-Da-Daaaa' at the end of the trailer, it's That variation, but it's a sweet bond theme when you're in a cinema.

Cool. So Arnold didn't change music cues like on TND and TWINE? I loathed those renditions. I am now finally looking forward to the gunbarrel. Hope is not lost.

Yes, it's a straight version of the gunbarrel music (Da-da!-Vamp-guitar) which simply keeps going into a full version of the Bond tune as the credits roll.

Knowing that makes my day. If I only didn't have to wait another week plus........Cool. So Arnold didn't change music cues like on TND and TWINE? I loathed those renditions. I am now finally looking forward to the gunbarrel. Hope is not lost.

So we get the opening hits? I thought the Bond music started during the last scene of the film (with Bond walking away from M) and just continued on over the gunbarrel sequence?
I don't remember any Bond theme before it starts. White dots and fanfare is what you get.

Yes, there is some sombre score playing which goes as Bond walks off the screen and we see the necklace lying in the snow then it fades to black..waits a moment, then the classic, brash Bond theme kicks off with the white dots. The gunbarrel design is the same general shape of what we had with Brosnan only the effects are different, not the closely spaced rifling of the Casino Royale gunbarrel design. It's a more matt coloured design with minimal sheen as it moves.

Gotcha. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it.Yep Bond does walk off stage left after firing, but only after the gunbarrel has formed the Q in "Quantum", so it's easy to miss unless your looking for it.

It was faster than usual and had a nifty tweak to pull out into the Q from Quantum, with ok-ish blood and Craig walking off afterwards.
I think for the future Bond films we could use this again, but a little slower so we ease into the opening of the film, not rushing on a high to end it.
The walk was very Dalton IMO.
Great stuff.

I was a bit shocked the first time I saw it - it's HUGE.
THANKYOU.

This is an incredibly personal response, I can't imagine anyone else feeling like this. He definitely walks with purpose and then fires the shot perfectly, and doesn't look like he's awkwardly trying to hold a pose either. It really does make Craig's performance look awkward, and I am curious to know how they choreographed the walk-on. Due to the very nature of the GB's size, there isn't much room for Craig to strut, so instead he seems to walk a shorter distance, but rolls his shoulders to compensate for his lack of movement, and it unintentionally makes him walk like a Chav.
Exactly, that's why I liked it. I hate the way in last few films they kepy feeling the need to "modernise" the gunbarrel with 3D blood, CG bullets... all nonsense, this is just a simple bold design, as it should be.The CGI blood is just an animated, 2D pale shape that goes over the top. There's no reflection or shading to the blood ala CR.

What I hated was Arnold's music in this film. Certian themes went off well but the rest sounded like leftovers from TWINE.

The GB sends you off thinking, "Yes, Bond Is BACK!"
Possibly, but I personally thought Bond was back at the end of Casino Royale after he'd shot Mr, White in the leg and introduced himself as Bond, James Bond!
I understand the idea of re-inventing the character but after the ending of Casino Royale I was expecting him to be a bit more classic Bond if you will.
At the time I really didnt like it at the end now my thoughts are a bit more I hope putting it at the end has some sort of significance to the next film.
I dont know part of me thinks its Bond tradition to start the film and why change that, so they re-booted the series they still started Casino Royale that way but the other part thinks what with QoS leading directly on the film as such doesnt really have a start point.

It can't be any bigger than Brosnan's third Gunbarrel in TWINE. That was unusually large, and even then it didn't bother me. So if Craig's Gunbarrel looks like that, no biggie.

I've managed to find two low quality pictures of the gunbarrel online. I can't upload them unless the mods say I can.
Have a guess.

Once that's done, he's Bond and ready for moving on.
As they say, he's never been away so now he's the Bond we know and not the renegade.
You can guarantee that from the next film the GB will be back at the beginning.
One thing that annoyed me is that Arnolds soundtrack was so lapse in Bond theme references (although he has had a tendancy to make a hash of it in some of the Brosnan films) that when it does appear, it's not on the CD soundtrack at all.

If this was MK12's doing I think they should stick to directing animated computer graphics and not actors.
