Well I really recommend you to try this game, it's good overall and really worth playing. You could rent it for a weekend.

I liked the overall gameplay, although I would prefer a third person game instead, but the game was just too easy, as I beat it the same day that I bought it.

I completed the PS2 version a few days ago and I have to say that it's alot better then EA's previous few efforts (Post EON), the only trouble I have with it is the length. They should have had 1 disc devoted to Casino Royale and one devoted to Quantum of Solace.

I have played the PS3 version and it's brilliant.

I wonder how many of you are/were experienced PC gamers (more specifically first person shooter PC gamers)... because really, this game plays and feels like it was made around the year 2002...

Not that experienced, I'll admit.

I personally think the majority of you ate into the hype and expected it to be a massive game that's the most epic thing ever. When you have little-to-no expectations like me, you end up more surprised than if you get disappointed if you buy into the hype.

Yeah, it's clear Treyarch put a stronger effort in Call of Duty: World at War than this game, but it's not terrible. It's also clear this was just gonna be a CR game, and the QOS stuff was added later (probably insisted by Activision). The singleplayer's competent but overall disjointed since you need to see the movies to understand the game; but the multiplayer's half-decent.

I've been playing this game since I got it Christmas day. I'm not quite finished with SP yet, but I've been pouring hours into multiplayer. It understands what it wants to do, at least. A few more months in the oven would've made this game great. But it's better than EA's last efforts, and it's up to par with Agent Under Fire. But it doesn't surpass Nightfire as my favorite Bond game, IMO.

Just got it for PS2 last night, and so far I'm liking it. I have finished up to the Opera House. Having used completed From Russia with Love however, I am having trouble getting used to the control scheme, but I guess I will attempt it again this morning. Couple of questions however, does anyone know if the cell phone things ya'll were talking about appear in the PS2 version, and if so, do I have to beat the game once before I get them like Nightfire, or am I just not paying enough attention.

Got the Xbox 360 version yesterday. I decided to buy it because I'm also playing Tomb Raider Underworld and I need something to take the stress off. :(

Completed the Opera House level last night, the part where you're using the sniper rifle was challenging.

Has anyone with the Wii version played it on HDTV yet?

Does it look good?

Having beat the game on PS2(only took 26 hours and that was taking breaks to take care of my daughter), I am kind of disappointed. Not in the game, the game was great. I am disappointed in the games lack of I guess I should call them extras, like multiplayer, extra modes. I don't know, I guess I've been spoiled by games like the Metal Gear Solid series or the classic Bond games like Goldeneye. I mean, QOS was hailed as "Goldeneye's second coming" so what happened?

Loved the game it was far to short (beat both the ps2 and Xbox 360 versions) I love the game but it is far to short and i wish the Port au prince Hati Level was in all versions of the game.

I have the PS2 version and while I enjoyed beating the game the first time, I find there are diminishing returns upon replay. The second time I went through the game it was still fun (although not as much as the first time), then I put the game down for about a month, picked it up again last week and really didn't have that much fun at all.

It's probably going up on Ebay in the coming weeks unless I can somehow get back into the mood soon.

It was fun, but I was CRAVING a driving mission...and I didn't get it...B)
Anyways, the game was WAY too short, but the action is great.
The two other things that I didn't like were the takedown system (I got Quantum on a PC) and the cover system (It's too repetitive).

I have the PS2 version so far, well what can I say, I like that it is TPS and that it has a fun gameplay.
But what sinking it down is that the game is too short and have very little replay value. It feels like the developer doesn't put so much effort into the game. Overall I give it a 3/5.
Thinking about getting the 360 version, which I hope is a little better.

Been playing the Ps2 version of this all week. (Probably would have completed it in a day if weren't for work, girlfriend, and getting stuck on the [second] Sink Hole Helicopter fight (4hrs), the Dimitrios fight (3 days), and now as I type the Elvis fight!) Overall, very good, although took me a while to get used to the fact that "Precise Aim" didn't mean "Lock on". The game play is involving and varied enough to keep me playing in fact the last game I played with ths much excitement and enthusiasm was "The X Files: Resist or Serve".

The more I think about it, and reconsider it (having replayed the game recently), the single player really is incredibly solid. It's very realistic, the level design is strikingly beautiful (as are characters), and it maintains a careful balance between shooting, cover, and physicality.

It's just so damned short (but then again, no shorter than original GoldenEye) and often repetitive. Otherwise, a nice adaptation. Attach driving and versatile gameplay to this, and you've got the best Bond game ever.

Oh, and the story is incoherent, poorly presented, and (in the case of, specifically, Quantum), has absolutely no point. Whatsoever.

I think the CR levels are excellent and the most fun but the QoS levels leave a bit to be desired.

Yeah, I'd agree. It feels like CR: the game w/ a QOS prologue and epilogue, more than anything.

I'm still not sold completely, due to the golden opportunities missed. The Embassy shootout is by far the most "lends itself to a video game-type" sequence in a Craig film thus far, and it's not even included. And yet the Miami airport is expanded to several levels of running around offices and interiors. Puzzling.

And it still amazes me that the story is basically incoherent, and yet GE64, with the disadvantage of not even having cutscenes or the advents of the "cell phone" in-game menu as a means of providing information, did a better job at getting its plot across. Just such a shame.

Yeah, they should have jettisoned the whole QoS idea and just done a CR game. As others have said, the QoS levels seem kind of rushed.

It just doesn't work on PS2. On PS3 however, it rocks! It NEEDS decent graphics to be good. The PS3 gives it that.

That, plus the ps2 version is just annoying. I've pretty much given up playing the game on ps2 after the first playthrough.

I just haven't got the heart to sell it away because of the tiny bits ; better chases and better flow of storyline.

I actually sold my copy. I played it 3 times on the PS2 (maybe a few levels 4 times). Fine game, but little replay value. After 3 plays, I felt I really was done with it.

Hi.
I consider myself to be a terrible gamer.
But, I have a PS3 and would like to play QoS.
How hard is the easiest mode?
Please don't make fun of me.

I thought it was fairly easy, and I seriously suck at any video game that isn't an RPG (healing items and revivals are my saving grace lol). Yeah it was still challenging, so it wasn't a quick sit down and beat it in no time at all kind of thing, but I was never really shouting angrily at my TV (as I so often do) and I don't remember ever wanting to throw my controller through the TV.

It's probably one of the best. It's quick to pick up and fun to play.

Fun, the ps2 sure was not. I played through the chases few times, but I just couldn't bring myself to play through the whole game again. The quick time events and bad targeting just irked me to no end.

So I sold it. But for me the ps3 version hold up pretty well and is fun to pick up and play from time to time. Even though it's not perfect. At least it's fun.
