It's the music that makes the difference IMO. I hope David Arnold will give it punch, speed and swing.

I'm hoping he makes prominent use of drums. Would complement the title song, which I hope he weaves extensively throughout the score.

I actually have a feeling we're gonna see something completely new now that MK12 is on board, perhaps something similar to the shot of Craig shooting at the end of the trailer which would be really cool imo.

I had a vision that, as I'm trying to go spoiler-free this time for QoS, I thought in the early days that the shot of Craig falling from the rope in Sienna and flipping to shoot the camera...that that would be the start of the movie (a'la Casino Royale's new gunbarrel)..


...but that would be a bit much!!

Myself as well. I am hoping the Bond theme is triumphant with the Da DA Duh.... chords to accompany the dots. As the scene and graphic, most likely by this point is complete, there seems no point in speculating now what outfit I'd like Craig to wear, or how red the blood looks. Just please, don't ruin the theme??????

Do we really need the classic gunbarrel back? I liked what they did with Casino Royale but if anything it proved that we don't need it to open up a Bond film.

Well, they already pretty much did it in CASINO ROYALE (and I assume that's why they're keeping it). I loved it there, so I'm pretty sure I'll love it here.

Cool pics.. However, I don't see any evidence that suggest that Craig will NOT be doing the walk across screen.. That photo from the back of him most likely is take off to the side of the screen before Craig starts his walk. And also Michael G Wilson did say they would be going back to the traditional gunbarrel.

Well, he didn't say that it would be the exact gunbarrel as before. He indicated that the gunbarrel would be back in its traditional spot, but didn't make any comments as to whether it would be tweaked or subtly different from what's come before.

Good news! I'll miss the walk, but it doesn't really matters for me as long as they keep the sequence back at the beginning of the film and the dots.

If the gunbarrel does begin with Craig with his back to the camera, I'm all for it. Links it back to CR, plus, makes the gunbarrel Craig's 'own' without having to worry about comparing poses and the way he walks on, etc.

Come on guys, just because we get a pic of Craig's back, which btw would have been a perfect poster for this movie, it doesn't mean he won't be doing the walk. The traditional gun barrel is in the film and that includes the walk.

Interesting that he's actually reaching for his gun. All previous gunbarrels have Bond walking with gun already in hand. This either confirms that those pictures aren't of how the gunbarrel plays out (just of them filming it), or means they're making some very bold changes.

If they're going to go back to classic, I hope they include the dots stopping, a la Dr. No and OHMSS, with the words "BARBARA BROCCOLI and MICHAEL G. WILSON Present" before the gunbarrel proceeds as normal.

it's hard to tell if these pictures are of them actually shooting the gunbarrel or between takes. It would be helpful if there were text to go along with the pictures

I like to watch Daniel to walk across the screen and shoot,but I haven't problem if we are going to a new,fresh style like CR without dots,and famous walk.The Graig's style is very closest to the Brosnan's style
