Not too sure whether this belongs here or in tabloid trash as his potential other film roles are in this fourm.

My Fair Lady just smacks of old Hollywood and sounds like it has flop written all over it. Would anybody who isn't a senior citizen really want to see an updated version of this?

But if they're really remaking MY FAIR LADY, then it's a terrible idea, and I hope Craig steers clear.

At first, I thought this was going to be for a stage production, which I thought might be interesting.
But if they're really remaking MY FAIR LADY, then it's a terrible idea, and I hope Craig steers clear.
He says, he can just about hold a tone - he will never do stuff like thta - no worries here.

Ah, but that wouldn't matter for the role of Henry Higgins, which is traditionally speak-sung.He says, he can just about hold a tone - he will never do stuff like thta - no worries here.At first, I thought this was going to be for a stage production, which I thought might be interesting.

DIY Another Day: Bond's Pierce Brosnan builds high-tech home Q would be proud of
High tech: Brosnan is installing gadgets in his £6.5m home
As James Bond, he handled his fair share of gadgets.
Now Pierce Brosnan is carrying his love of modern technology into his personal life.
The 55-year-old actor is building a £6.5 million mansion in Malibu, California, which will be packed with enough electronic wizardry to make Q’s eyes light up.
A source said: ‘Pierce has always loved technology and playing Bond only cemented that love. He says this will be his dream house and it will have every possible boy’s toy imaginable, plus a few for his wife.
‘It will have a high-definition home theatre which Pierce says will rival anything out there for clarity and sound.
‘And the security system is going to revolve around pressure sensors in the flooring and infrared lights.’
The two-storey building – on a stretch known as Billionaire’s Row, where neighbours include Cher and Mel Gibson – will have a basement gym, music room and games room.
The master bedroom will have blinds that rise at the touch of a button to reveal ocean views, with adjoining separate bathrooms and walk-in closets for Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye Smith, 46.
The actor’s wardrobe will contain a separate compartment for his cufflinks and an electronic revolving tie holder.
There is also an Olympic-sized pool, an office, an art studio and a library that comes complete with a walk-in cigar humidor.
The entire compound will have wireless and Bluetooth connectivity and flatscreen televisions built into the wall of most rooms.
A touch sensor garage will store his Range Rover and £75,000 Maserati Gran Tourismo sports car.
The source added: ‘Pierce will be able to open the main gates and the garage doors while he is still driving down the freeway. Everything will be linked to a central computer that he can control even when he is outside the house.’
The house should also be green – Brosnan will use eco-friendly building products and install solar panels to provide electricity.
(I see the word "recession" is very selective on who it hits.. )

You know I wondered about that. Maybe he has it on Hawaii only at their other home or maybe....he decided to downsize due to economy?

Not to mention shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted, rather.
Unless, of course, THOMAS CROWN 2 does ever get off the ground.

Danny Boyle bags James Bond flick offer
London, March 03:
‘Slumdog Millionaire’ not only turned out to be an Oscar sensation, but has also earned its director Danny Boyle a chance to direct the next James Bond flick.
He is also pals with CALLUM MCDOUGAL — who shot the 2000 film The Beach with him and is now a Bond producer.
Bond chief Barbara Broccoli, who currently heads the 007 franchise at EON Productions, is said to be leading the chase for the British filmmaker’s services.
“Danny is the man of the moment and he is being bombarded with offers from studios,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.
“He has been offered the chance to direct the 23rd Bond film by Barbara. The EON team love his vision and think that it would work perfectly for the new look of Bond,” the source added.
In his recent interviews, Danny has said that big budgets are not important to him.
And Bond producers think that Boyle may be the right choice considering the changes in the 007 series since Daniel Craig has joined it.
“Danny has always insisted he is more interested in the film than the money,” the source said.
“However, with Daniel Craig’s involvement and the way the films are now structured — with the emphasis on the characters and plot rather than gags and gadgets — it is right up Danny’s street.
“Everyone on the EON team thinks Danny would be a fantastic addition to the Bond family,” the source added.
Danny, who bagged the Best Director Oscar for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, has also made films like Shallow Grave, Trainspotting and 28 Days Later.
(Bear in mind, it is from The Sun paper) but quite interesting. What do you all think?
