As I said before.

"I think it's legit.... look at the gloss on the text.

Thats actually the most amazing Bond poster ever, beats any of the others, by a long way. It ALOT better than the teaser.

I don't think any of you realise how amazing this poster actually is, its so simple yet very effective. James Bond walking alone in the desert, with a machine gun... we're going to new territory in QoS I can feel it"

Looks like somebody took Photoshop 101, got a job working for the Sony marketing department and knocked this up during their lunch break.

Harkers, you're crazy. Sorry to say it. "The most amazing Bond poster ever"? I've seen fan-made posters better than that. And it couldn't be much worse than the teaser.

Maybe I over did it a little bit with the "The most amazing Bond poster ever", What I meant was... It's VERY simple but effective. It reflects Bonds emotional state.

I agree that it is very simple and effective and it focuses on Craig and indeed his emotional state. Again, it has my thumbs up!

It's not bad, but it really looks like the face has been plastered on there. A bit odd, but perhaps it looks better in person.

I wonder what the poster would look like if done in the circa 1960s style?

Having worked for an advertising agency a long time ago, I can tell you that there is a lot computer processing happening before a final proof of a poster is made. You will never find an original photo picture on a published advert.

If you actually zoom in to his face, it doesn't look as odd as it does looking at the full quad. His facial expression is actually pretty cool.

It might be just the actual lighting that makes it look a little iffy.

Actually, I think the fact that Craig has been airbrushed makes the Quad look wiered.

What is this "Quantum of Solace 7" movie being advertised on this poster?

What happened to Quantum of Solace 1 through 6?

Is this like Leonard Part 6, and the missing Leonards Part 1 through 5?

Same here. I'm not a big fan of this big rifle (is it a H&K MP5?) for a poster, it screams "action hero" rather than "Bond".

I like it. It's not bad, but I must say I'm not liking the posters for this film as much as I did the Casino Royale posters. That being said, I do agree that the poster is simple and effective. I think the image of Bond with a machine gun is all that people will need to remind them that a new Bond film is coming.

CR - all that pops into folks' heads when they think about CR - is feeding expectations for QOS. And why not? CR was seen by tons of people and made tons of money and was very highly reviewed. The poster is a great image for the continuation storyline IMO: looking ahead to big trouble but reminding viewers where Bond - this Bond, with his effing big gun - is coming from. Very savvy marketing IMO, they aren't just going for QOS being identified with "Bond," but with Craig's Bond. Considering the last image from CR, smart place to start the ad campaign for QOS.

I like it. I think it's real because it's on par with the CR posters.
I think any default you noted will disappear once a true, 100% original version (not cam) appears on the web. The perspective is wrong because it's a cam not shot at a correct angle.

I despair at the state of Modern Bond posters. There hasn't been a good one since TLD's. Nothing about it stands out - it is the most uninspiring one of the lot, and that says something - considering DAD's frankly dismal efforts. I could have knocked something up like that in Photoshop within an hour. This is simply not enough, I expect better - something that stands out. Innovate Eon, innovate!

What ? I don't get it, a lackluster trailer is released, and everyone raves about it.
A good poster is coming, and it's being slammed as unimaginative. I like this one. I'm tired of the old image of Bond with his PPK with silencer, it's over 45 years old. Bring on the Bond for new millenium, with a huge submachine gun !

Thank you! Thats exactly how I feel. The poster reflects Bond's emotional state... he wants to hurt someone and he needs something big to do it!

Well, for those interested in buying it, there are versions printed single sided.

The one on ebay (or at least the first one that appeared) is single sided.

The poster dealer has it for sale too.

This is definitely real! There is one up in my local cinema. I'm friends with the manager and will probably be getting my hands on one.

I quite like it. Not as good as CR but still a cool poster.

It doesn't appear to have been advertised on the main site the way the previous posters have been. And also no sign of a US 1 Sheet version.

The quad does appear Double Sided too, I am reliably informed, for those interested.
