I would honestly be surprised if Entertainment Tonight isn't showing the trailer tomorrow, considering the fact that the episode has been titled "QUANTUM OF SOLACE."

Hmm, well if they're really making a big deal of it, they will probably give us a little tease on tonight's show!

I was expecting a bit more of a shake-up from Forster, the way he kept talking about the new visual direction (and there may yet be a shake-up... hard to tell from 10 seconds of footage, just like how the visual atmosphere of CASINO ROYALE couldn't be rightly judged from its teaser trailer).

I was also expecting more of a shakeup in terms of visuals. The only cool shot, for me, is the one of the car chase - great camera angle. Otherwise, it's all pretty meh. Then again, we've obviously been privy to only about ten seconds of footage, so it's not as though there's all that much to go on at this point. I really hope that there will be some surprising and interesting stuff on Monday.

Agreed. The car chase looked very good, and at last it looks like we may get some sort of substantial car chase down an actual road again (as opposed to a parking garage or a large patch of ice), but I can't say that I'm overly excited about the rest of the "footage" that is present in the short clip, but of course there's not much to go on here anyway. Hopefully the teaser trailer delivers.

I dont know why you are all so excited. This could be FRWL 2, Transporter 3 or everything in between.

indeed. Action is action, for the most part. However, seeing new Bond footage is always cool!

incidentally, really looking forward to Transporter 3!

Hmm, is that really Bond, or his opponent? Either way it looks painful. But if its Craig, maybe he'll do what he did when he jumped off the crane in CR, just shake his head, grunt, and get up and start running again

It looks like Bond. I'm not sure if it is though.

Wow. I cant believe that some of you are aleady even attempting to critique some of the shots used within a ten second time frame. I think the first bike jump shot is amazing for one. The running on the top of the building with Bond aiming down is another great one, the car one previously mentioned is a great one, and not to mention the up close and personal shot of Bond kicking the guy in the face. Plus we have to remember as well probably about 1/4 of the shots used in this delicious clip wont be used in the film due to editing etc. I for one am thankful that they gave us this great clip just to keep ourselfs from killing eachother.

I'm pretty sure that he is Bond. Remember the first Behind-The-Scenes video after the Press Conference? I think that he was doing it. I would check but I'm far too lasy I'm afraid

I did love that...I'm assuming Bond is chasing soneone who is running through the glass corridor underneath. If that's the case, then someone's been watching the train scene from Octopussy!

My favorite shot was of Olga landing on the balcony and you see the desert stretching out for miles behind. Looks stunning!

Motorbike scene looks great, but Eon will need to be careful as it could easily be seen as a Bourne Ultimatum rip-off. Favourite bit is the clip of the DBS from behind in the chase - looks extraordinary.

Anything Bourne can do Bond can do better.

What a great surprise to come home and see this ten seconds already online.

The whole look of these 10 seconds looks pure Marc Forster. There is the yellows and oranges of Finding Neverland and Stranger than Fiction, as well as a link to the tone of Casino Royale.

It also has a Bourne element to it aswell, like CR. which is no bad thing.

First, HUGE thanks to Royal Dalton for the link and the images.

It's been fascinating to page through this thread and to see our frustration, our anxieties, our excitement, and our critiques. Even when we don't agree (and when do we ever agree?), it all reflects a love of Bond that shows once more why CBn is the best Bond site on the net.

Mine too! It's my first week of Holidays and I'm sooo bored. I'm waiting for Blizzard announcement and Quantum of Solace first (or is it second now ;P) trailer. And of course some new infos about QoS game!

Quite right! A great thread and well done to Royal Dalton on his link. I originally thought this thread was about 10 seconds of footage and I had found some from BBC Breakfast from weeks ago on the filming - it was all new stuff to me, though, so I was excited! Then I got this bonus 10 seconds!!

Did anyone else love the music? Seems like a really cool take on the Bond theme, and reminded me of the middle section of the Casino Royale trailer before the fast-paced and choral finale to that.

Interesting that they are showcasing more of the Simon Crane action footage as oppose to Dan Bradley's contributions.

The music was really offputting though. They really need to distance this much publicised "Bond makeover" from that generic Zimmer music. I don't want to hear Jerry Bruckheimer leftovers in a Bond film. Whatever happened to the essence of John Barry?

That was just temporary trailer music Tim, that I believe was used for the Casino Royale trailers..Don't worry I'm sure we'll be pleasently surprised when we get to hear David Arnold's final score for the film.

I'm not liking the music much either. I keep hearing that it's a great new version of the Bond theme, but I think that it's about time to retire the "James Bond Theme" and finally give the character a new song. I'm also not that crazy about this particular arrangement of the theme either.

I think you have to include the Bond theme. It gets my pulse racing every time!! And I think casual Bond fans get excited by it too, when watching trailers. It makes them excited and the think "Hmm...November eh? I will definitely see that!"

Maybe it's just me, then, but there's only been one version of the James Bond theme since the original that I thought was really any good, and that was one that never even made it into a film (the choral Bond theme in the CR trailers). That was a good reinterpretation of the theme, but I would still like to see someone come up with a completely different theme for the character. There's only so many times that the original theme can be reinterpreted before it becomes stale, and I think we've reached that point with "The James Bond Theme".
