Did you notice the ultra-short image of the "ropes-fight" just after the Camille's jump on the balcony, and before we see someone running on the roof (at 2")? I think it's not the actual teaser trailer, but has been re-edited. Very strange.

I can't imagine why you would have those fears to begin with. If we were able to take anything for granted about QUANTUM OF SOLACE, it was that it would have a lovely sense of style.

Quite right. It's just 10 seconds of footage. A good 10 seconds, mind you, but it's still just 10 seconds.

Agreed. It's just 10 seconds of footage, nothing to really show whether or not the film, or the action, is going to be of any quality whatsoever. Using only 10 seconds of footage, even DAD could be made to look like a halfway decent film that was worth the film it was printed on, so I'm not convinced at all by the footage that QOS will be good or not.

Well to be honest I really haven't seen much of Forster's work so I didn't really know what to expect. I was afraid he was going to have a similar style to Michael Apted which is kind of bland. This was the farthest thing from bland lol.

Nice. From these 10 seconds (which is admittedly very little to judge by), it seems to be more visually in keeping with CASINO ROYALE than I was expecting, but that's hardly a bad thing. Very stylish.

Like the hint of the Bond theme in the background... can't wait to hear all of that.

Yes, it did have a Casino Royale feel to it, which is great, and makes sense to me. Love the music too.

Sure. It feels like there's some continuity there. I was expecting a bit more of a shake-up from Forster, the way he kept talking about the new visual direction (and there may yet be a shake-up... hard to tell from 10 seconds of footage, just like how the visual atmosphere of CASINO ROYALE couldn't be rightly judged from its teaser trailer).

You know, as Entertainment tonight is airing "something" from QoS on Friday, maybe they'll be doing a little sneak preview at the end of tonight's episode, similar to this. We'll know in about five hours!
