Unfortunate turn of phrase.Originally posted by TheNewBlofeld
Vin Diesel was good... in Pitch Black. Since then, he has come to suck. A lot.

The difference between Diesel's character in xXx and Bond from what I have gathered is that Diesel exhibits not a jot of panache or charm unlike Bond ...
Why am I even bothering to compare these two characters? I like Bond, I don't like the look of xXx. 'Nuff said

Oh no, not another dabate about gays, we've had this before:rolleyes:. Well, my opions on Vin Desil are that he is big-headed, arrogant, stupid, unprofessional, and how can he say Bond is a left over from the Clark Gable era? The man has class! Bond skis, so what? You expect him to snowboard?
Well, to get technical, Bond kind of was the first to snowboard, in AVTAK....so he's been there and done that....besides, why would someone as cool as Bond be into extreme! sports.....he doesn't exactly go around saying Dude...
As for VD (unfortunate initials)....it's been rumored that he is, so what? nothing to laugh at him for...

Yeah, that's one of the things I've thought during this whole XXX is the new way and Bond is old ****.
With all the coverage this film got you would think it was something truly revolutionary, but it's just a Mountain Dew commercial in the middle of an X-Games broadcast for Gen Y people who've got nothing else to do.
If they would just acknowledge there would be no XXX if Bond hadn't been there first I wouldn't be so annoyed. But to say Bond's time is past and all that while ripping off everything the series did before is typical. They can't even think up an original name for the film.

If they want to appeal, try doing something that's not been don. Don't rip-off Bond.

I also hold out hope when DAD arrives and XXX fades from memory that maybe, just maybe, some kids who went to see it will see the Bond brand of action and realize it's got its qualities as well. Just like some younger kids found the series five years ago when the GoldenEye game came out, maybe some will be won over like this.

im ashamed to say that i actually sold my soul and went to see it (dont hate me, my friends were going and i was bored)
however i really really hated it, it was just ridiculous.
And if that woman thinks bond films are sexist, she should see her own film
