Apparently not.

Doesn't look like it. I guess the last possible trailer appearance between now and July 2 is Sony's You don't mess with the Zohan on June 6.

Does the trailer need to be attached to a movie? The CR teaser was first leaked through French TV. And if it's a movie, does it have to be a Sony film? Here in the UK trailers are usually shown by the cinema before a movie (and usually in the same genre) - but I don't think they are necessarily related to the studio.

It doesn't have to be attached to any particular movie, but going by Sony's past form, its what they like to do; both of the CR trailers played with other Sony flicks. Anyway, I expect it'll hit the internet in grainy/blurry bootleg form before any official release, could be any day between now and July 2.

Indeed. The Indiana Jones 4 Trailer was very late in the store, just a few days ago, If I remember correctly. I hope we get the Quantum of Solace early.

As today is the 2nd of June, and we're a month to the day before the release of Hancock, which we're expecting to carry the first trailer, with each passing day the odds are more and more likely that we'll have to wait until then to see it. If it's not made available within, oh, say the next fornight, then it probably won't be seen until some time around the 2nd of July attached to Hancock.

Well...CR came out around 2 weeks before Dan Vinci, so it's very likely that we'll see Quantum coming our way mid way through the month, after around the 15/16th, if it dosen't come then or get leaked, then everyday after is a possibility.

Bond loves publicity, and the press love Bond. I mean they have invited the media to every major loaction they have shot at, Bond is certain to be i the press at least once a week. EON tend to release things as soon as they happen, they don;t sit around long:
-Craig was signed on the Monday, annouced on the Friday.
-As soon as Green and Mikkelsen joined Cr they were annouced, 2 weeks late.
-On 22 Jan the Bond 22 title was chosen, on the 24th they told the world

When the trailer is sanctioned for release we'll get it. There will be no leaks from handheld cameras in shad cinemas. EON don't work like that.

Honestly i'm getting annoyed i've been happy with the Bond machine thus far this wait is unnesscary and stupid. Honestly what do they hope to gain besides annyoing us. Do they figure "well it'll break even at the least no matter what so let's make an awesome trailer than sit on it for a month or so and watch the bond fans squirm."

Now I'm not going to boycott the film or anything I'm honestly asking they have the trailer why the wait. Captain or anyone else please answer my questuion cause to me it seems holding on to the trailer is not a smart move it won't hurt them and in the long run Quantum of solace will do better than Casino Royale and Bond 23 (would love a fleming title for this one POAL or THR) will also be successfull etc etc. But can anyone answer Why they are holding back this time?

I agree with others though about the trailer. If we don't see it by the end of the 2nd week in June, it will be July 2nd
