It came up on some satellite listings.
My guess is that ET will show it on the Friday, it'll leak by the Saturday, but Sony will be  hot on taking it down quickly. Then to get our first rproper look of the trailer we'll have to wait till Monday for Sony to unviel it at Yahoo.

I hope someone else, i.e. Sky News, shows it before ET...they tend to talk over trailers, with useless information like "This is Craig Daniels' second Bond film!" and "The title comes from an Ivan Fleming story from 1896!"

LMAO...

Heh. I trust our American friends are looking forward to Daniel Cregg's second film. Obviously, Pierce Brosnan's been Bond since 1986, but hopefully Cregg will do just fine as a filler while we all await Brosnan's return to the role.

What about the silly Sky UK presenters with their "And the new James Bond film will be called, the rather confusing title Quantum of Solace. Now we don't know what it means and it's very strange.."

"Yes, it doesn't roll off the tongue like Goldfinger does it?"

What's funny is that other than those who have read/seen Goldfinger, would that title make any more sense than Quantum of Solace does? I wonder if there was ever this much confusion over titles like Goldfinger and Thunderball when they were released amongst those who never read the books?

They've been told time and time again what it means by the likes of Michael G Wilson and His Manliness, Daniel Craig, in interviews and press conferences. If they don't know what it means by now, they probably shouln't be reporting on it.

Or, maybe they were just making a lighthearted comment about it?

Middle of the night for us here in Australia. After this "2-hour window", how likely is it that the trailer will already be on youtube?

I've just thought, I hope the American trailer voice doesn't say "Quantum of Soulace!" because even Michael Wilson has pronounced it like that once or twice.

I think the era of Don "Movie Guy" LaFontaine doing voiceovers for trailers is past. Most traiers these days prefer to let the film speak for itself.

4pm GMT right? GMT is PDT plus 7 hours, so that means us Brits will see the trailer at 4pm. Am I right? I don't want to miss the 2 hour slot.

I assume it will be online somewhere else afterwards? Otherwise I am going to have to get up between 1am and 3am to see it.
