Well... maybe it is.
Still, it's not like we have any rights to anything. As and when a movie is released we have a right to purchase a ticket and watch it. And again if we like it. The rest is really up to them... no one forces us to watch these clips (I tend to watch a couple of weeks worth when I really have nothing better to do).

I'm 99% certain this date is only for German fans.
From my experience of Cinema handlings, reels always come in a few days early, rarely the day before. Some big films like Harry Potter come in on different reels to stop piates gettin the whole lot, so part 1 on Monday, part 2 on Wednesday. Normally there is a staff showing for any Friday opening film on the Wednesday. Hancock is opening in America and England on the 1st, the reels will come in beofre the weekend so that the cinema can run them and check them. If Sony do keep the trail till the 30th, it will certainly leak out before.
I don't think so... They wouldn't have told me 2 different websites (plus the exact release times) just for fun.
They specifically told me the German and the US-site.
Of course, it is possible that it will leak out before on Youtube or so (they have to give it to the cinemas before Tuesday), but the official date for the trailer is next Monday, not only in Germany (and personally, I don't want to see the trailer for the first time in bad quality on Youtube...)

I don't imagine it's very difficult for anyone to access the German or the US sites from outside those countries anyway.

Hold on a second. So if the trailer is going online 5pm British Summer Time, when exactly would that be for American Eastern time? Im not good at math nor do i want to look through all the pages to see if someone already answered that. Sorry.
British Summer Time is 5 hours in front of your American eastern time, so should only have to wait until noon, lucky you

'attached to Sony's 'Hancock''
Don't you mean Tony Hancock??
I'm interested to see what Will Smith does with the blood donor sketch.
"A pint? You crazy Mutha! That's a god-damned arm!"

Just bought my Hancock tickets. I'm going to try to avoid watching the QoS trailer online until then. Dying to see it in the theatre with the packed audience.
I know what you mean. It would be great to see it on the big screen but I am not going to watch a load of rubbish just to see a trailer.
Will it end up being a trailer on Indy 4? I haven't seen that yet.

This blog is probably the worst marketing ploy ever made for a 007 movie, we learn basically nothing, it's just like the family throwing off the remains of the dinner to the dogs. Totally outrageous so badly (and short) everything is made (everything with the same music !!!! the same bloody track !!!).
But it's not made for you or the fans. It's all about web presence.

I doubt they'll take a trailer down. It's free advertising for them. Once they give it to anyone they'll expect it to start leaking.

Thanks for that Pierce-Daniel. I couldn’t provide a link.It came up on some satellite listings.
My guess is that ET will show it on the Friday, it'll leak by the Saturday, but Sony will behot on taking it down quickly. Then to get our first rproper look of the trailer we'll have to wait till Monday for Sony to unviel it at Yahoo.

Yes, experience tells me that it will be edited down bits of the trailer, that’s what ET have shown in the past, a few days before the trailer surfaces on-line. But it will be our first look at it in some form.
They have tended to show most of it all the same.

Here's hoping this is the case and cuts the wait in half. It'd be good to get a glimpse at least, to sate our hunger until Monday.Word is the trailer will be shown on Entertainment Tonight this Friday (June 27th)!

With all this hype about the trailer, I wouldn't be suprised if Eon decided to Rick Roll us on Monday.

If so I might just have to kick Wilson in the face.

I hope someone else, i.e. Sky News, shows it before ET...they tend to talk over trailers, with useless information like "This is Craig Daniels' second Bond film!" and "The title comes from an Ivan Fleming story from 1896!"
