Oh and at the end of the 'Finale' Track (08:15) there is a brilliant new arrangment of the Indy Theme, just a shame it wasn't included in the film itself.

I agree with that assessment of the score, but unlike you, I thought the Raiders March made plentiful appearances (almost as much as the RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK score), and I'm curious as to why you think "The Adventures of Mutt" is "disgraceful." It's not memorable, but I didn't think it was at all bad.Not at all memorable, a few good bits though.

Yes, that's cracking isn't it? I wouldn't thought I'd be happy with a mucking around with that theme but it works brilliantly.
I'm still listening to the rest of it, but I'm liking it so far. I do like the Crystal Skull theme- I think that's going to grow on me a lot. Already I'm prefering this to the majority of the new Star Wars scores.
As for the lack of Raiders March; I don't think it's much less than we hear it in the others. And don't forget- it's likely this isn't all of the music from the film; perhaps there's even a few extra bits in the actual movie.
Now, what about those Ark and Nazi themes in Spell of the Skull, eh?
(incidentally, I've preordered the CD, so I don't feel too guilty about downloading this)

Agreed. The Raiders march gets a decent amount of play. Sounds about right. Besides, I'd hardly want the theme blaring ALL the time. I'm most disappointed at the lack of exciting new material (the crystal skull theme is nice, but it's hardly up there with some of the other secondary themes Williams has composed for this franchise).Actually; now I've listened to it I'm a little confused- the Raiders march is quoted in most tracks in some way it seems to me. Slightly more than most I can think of; certainly more than the Last Crusade score.

Fairly decent artwork there.
Yes, I do like the whippy one.
I saw a fun 3D cinema poster thing online which had that swinging Indy cut out and swinging away from a bunch of natives, which were on the main bit of cardboard behind him. Looked great.

Actually after having another listen, the counter melody appears in the Jungle Chase.
Thanks for the TV spots- I'm almost not sure I want to see any more now- that bit with the water makes me feel almost spoilt! Weird because any other film would have shown much more of itself by now and I wouldn't feel spoilt at all!

Very nice, jaguar007!Whooo Hoooo! I got tickets to an advance screening to see it on Tuesday night. I can't freakin' wait.
I may have to wait until I go home in mid-June to see it because I don't have a car and therefore can't get off campus to go to the theater. There's a small theater close to my school but it's an art house.

What should happen is, having KOTCS be the start of a new trilogy with Harrison as a more older, wiser Indy. The last in the trilogy should be a really dark movie and ending with Indy getting killed off. Then and only then should Shia take on his fathers work.
Oh and btw, can Indy be killed off, as he drank the grail in TLC which made him immortal.

I have an idea to make Shia [LeBeouf] the lead character next time and have Harrison [Ford] come back like Sean Connery did in the last movie. I can see it working out.
*Yawn* That's great, George. Wow, no one in fandom saw that idea coming, did they?

He's no longer immortal. Once a drinker of the grail has passed the seal in the temple of the crescent moon, the effects wear off ("the price of immortality").
As for this Shia 'idea' - I hate it. Either make an Indiana Jones movie with Indiana Jones or don't make one at all. Have yet to see the film, so i'll reserve my judgment on Mutt - but at this point I have no interest at all in a film where he's the lead.
