I fell from a great height, and was shot, but not in the teeth.
Amazingly--neither instance killed me.

Nice guess, but sadly, that's not the answer I was looking for...
Mmmmmmmm, how about either: Dr Noah from '67 Casino Royale, or Sanchez from LTK?

She was girl next door no. 2, and a not-so-easy rider, but ultimately Bond gave her quite a turn.

Alrighty then . . .
She was girl next door no. 2, and a not-so-easy rider, but ultimately Bond gave her quite a turn.
Going with--Fiona Volpe. Next door in the hotel, worked for Largo (#2), the whole car sequence and of course, that last turn Bond gave her left her "just dead".

Baron samedi?
Nope.
Going to do another reword (looking back--I might be too vague), and yes, we know the answer is a male character:
"Nothing was a problem until my future saw me."
There, THAT should clinch it!

It's not Vijay, right?

I keep trying to connect "nothing was a problem" to Vijay ("no problem") in Octopussy, and "saw" could refer to the fact that he was killed by that flying-buzzsaw thing. But that's kind of a stretch, and it doesn't explain the "future" part. But just for the record:
It's not Vijay, right?
Absolutely correct--it IS Vijay. "No problem" was his motto and his future/fate was death by saw.
