He looks different with every appearance, does or does not understand science, and has had more expensive headquarters destroyed than any other man in history.

Incorrect--he was shot and then hung around/

Krilencu in FRWL? He briefly hung out the window (in Anita Ekberg's mouth) before being shot by Kerim.

Very true, but someone else hung even more, so to use that famous quote: "Not what I was thinking".

Current clue: He briefly hung around--before getting shot.

ABSOLUTELY YES! B)

Sorry--much too early for clues. My last puzzle went unsolved for 1 month. Much like Mr Stamper, I'd like to break that record.

Current clue: He briefly hung around--before getting shot

Damn, another excellent and true reply from you Major B---and I hate to say it, but not what I was thinking.

Still, you have given me TWO alternatives to my original clue, so I shall "pass the shoe"--rework the wording of my original puzzle, and live to TRY another day.

Over to you...........

No, no, wait, I want to get this!!

The ninja from YOLT who's shot sliding down his rope and arrives at the bottom of the volcano riddled with holes??

(To keep this from turning into a two-person topic, I promise if this guess is wrong I'll post my own question.)

Okay, okay . . .

This character likes steamy messages and cold/code introductions, but ultimately chokes in a lotus position.

Keeeeerect, trs007! He wrote on Bond's mirror, with the message showing up in steam; he introduced himself to Bond in wintry outdoors with a code phrase; and he was found strangled seated in the Lotus Esprit.

'Course, you know what this means, don't you? It's time for the Return of Your Brilliantly Revamped Man-Shot-While-Hanging-Around Clue!! Aaaaaaand ACTION!
