More quotes about the possibility of a 24 movie after season 8, this time from Kiefer Sutherland on BBC Radio 1:

24 movie 'may be set in London'

The performance of Matobo's wife in episode 5 was the low-point for me so far.

She was awful.

24: The Wrath of Jack

24: The Search for CTU

A big rumor is that Jack could die in either the movie or at the end of season 8. If they go with that I will make it my mission in life to hunt them down. I think Jack deserves a happy ending, or a Soprano's style ending. Perhaps even a passing of the torch to a new character would be better. Just a thought.

SO glad Agent Red Hot is alive! So sad Popular is dead :(

And yes, the Henry Taylor subplot is by far the best part of the show this season.

Not enough Jack in ep 6, but that'll improve once the story develops. I don't like President Taylor's decisions. She's not a bad actor, I just disagree with her ideologically. I really am enjoying Henry's storyline, especially this epsisode. What a sadistic s.s. agent he's got there! Liked what happened with that plot yesterday. I also liked David Emerson. He was pretty cool.

This is my first season watching live, so I don't know who dies. Almost crapped myself when Jack shot the gunman about to take out Tony.

And it's a good thought. Half the heroic deaths in Hollywood are caused by burned-out screenwriters or by actors who hope to lose the millstones of past triumphs round their necks--and to move on, now that they're loaded, to more Meaningful work.

Give Jack a break!

Another good episode this week. It looks like the two main storylines will be converging next week. And I would like to see where the corrupt government plot goes from here. Let's hope they can sustain this pace for 17 more weeks!

Yeah, it certainly has the potential to be one of the top seasons. It's about time now for a little convergence...and major plot twist. Looks like Tony may be returning to the dark side?

It does, but why would he have dragged Jack into this a few weeks ago? Revenge maybe? Who knows. We may see a major plot twist involving Tony, but maybe not. That's what makes this show so unpredictable.

Good episode. The assault on Dubaku's facility was well done. This week's episode does seem to have all the potential for a major plot twist. At least the Henry storyline is alive & well, for now. :(

Amusing sidebar in the latest Entertainment Weekly: reportedly, Sutherland and the producers had decided that Jack simply, really, truly had to die. Then, thinking of movie potential, they decided: "Maybe not."

There's no maybe. Definitely not. They can't afford to Death Booger our beloved Jack.

Well..like they say, there's no business like show business.

I've got a neat 24 connection: My dad actually knows the fellow who's playing Agent Vossler this season! His name's Mark Kiely, and he lives in my home state of Rhode Island. :(

Very cool. His character Vossler seems a very scary guy, and also has an important role in tying together the two main plot strands of the season so far.

Not bad, I don't really like the visual style this season seeing as it is rather bland, but there is some awesome action going on and that's all I really need from 24. I think this season will end up being somewhere in the middle of the bunch. The show is clearly losing steam and is trying seemingly desperately to keep things interesting. Still, it has me hooked and that's all that matters.

Excellent episode (with the exception of the subplot related to Dubaku's girlfriend...) Torture and mutilation are back in the 24 universe, plus an excellent cliff-hanger.

From next week, we are onto the post-writers strike episodes, and I'm told the season really kicks off.

Fab episode. 24's got its groove back on--just when you think they've let up on poor Henry, they sock it to him once again. TV Guide gave a Jeer to Jack's new female sidekick. But her transformation is holding my interest. And I'll be danged if I can figure out who the bloomin' mole is. Could it possibly be the obnoxious adulterous geek keep fixing our attention on? Or could it...maybe, just maybe...be Jack's new sidekick's boss?

Fantastic scenes with Renee and Vossler's wife.

Possibly the adulterous blonde who keeps popping up, but I'd love it to be Moss the boss.

I'd forgotten about the blonde. I think you're on to something here, though I too would be hot to see Moss the boss be the one.

It'll be a baaaaad mistake, if Keifer decides to kill JB off. He won't be the first artist who's felt the wrath of fans after hurling a Death Booger at them: Arthur Conan Doyle, Sly Stallone (well, Rocky didn't die in V but did the next worst thing--retired because of brain damage!)...

I don't know. Jack has committed some serious crimes in the past - especially cold blooded murder for his own selfish reasons. I can see why Sutherland wouldn't mind killing Jack off when the series ends.

I was going to say, you posted recently that your dad knew who plays Vossler. Well, last night changes the "dyanmic" so to speak. Of course, never assume anything because 24 is, well 24! :) You just never know!

Are you talking about Sean Hillinger, the FBI agent that seems a little too interested in what his boss is up to? I don't get it, I thought Moss is his boss, not the other way around. Hillinger seems a bit too noisy for his own good, and if he acted like that in a real world job he would be put in his place pretty quick, probably with a suspension or worse.

Yes, Hillinger seems very fishy to me, but maybe a bit too obvious to be the mole.

I'll make a pick way out of left field and say it's Chloe O'Brian number two, otherwise known as Agent Janis Gold! :( She seems so clutzy to be the mole, but you just never know with 24! :)

The thing about the FBI is that it seems everyone would an obvious choice as the mole. They've all acted suspiciously at some point in the season so far.
