She was awful. The performance of Matobo's wife in episode 5 was the low-point for me so far.

SO glad Agent Red Hot is alive! So sad Popular is dead

And yes, the Henry Taylor subplot is by far the best part of the show this season.

This is my first season watching live, so I don't know who dies. Almost crapped myself when Jack shot the gunman about to take out Tony.

A big rumor is that Jack could die in either the movie or at the end of season 8. If they go with that I will make it my mission in life to hunt them down. I think Jack deserves a happy ending, or a Soprano's style ending. Perhaps even a passing of the torch to a new character would be better. Just a thought.

And it's a good thought. Half the heroic deaths in Hollywood are caused by burned-out screenwriters or by actors who hope to lose the millstones of past triumphs round their necks--and to move on, now that they're loaded, to more Meaningful work.
Give Jack a break!

Good episode, but there certainly seems to be something fishy about Tony.
It does, but why would he have dragged Jack into this a few weeks ago? Revenge maybe? Who knows. We may see a major plot twist involving Tony, but maybe not. That's what makes this show so unpredictable.

There's no maybe. Definitely not. They can't afford to Death Booger our beloved Jack.

Well..like they say, there's no business like show business.Amusing sidebar in the latest Entertainment Weekly: reportedly, Sutherland and the producers had decided that Jack simply, really, truly had to die. Then, thinking of movie potential, they decided: "Maybe not."
There's no maybe. Definitely not. They can't afford to Death Booger our beloved Jack.

Very cool. His character Vossler seems a very scary guy, and also has an important role in tying together the two main plot strands of the season so far.I've got a neat 24 connection: My dad actually knows the fellow who's playing Agent Vossler this season! His name's Mark Kiely, and he lives in my home state of Rhode Island.

From next week, we are onto the post-writers strike episodes, and I'm told the season really kicks off.

Fantastic scenes with Renee and Vossler's wife.TV Guide gave a Jeer to Jack's new female sidekick. But her transformation is holding my interest.
Possibly the adulterous blonde who keeps popping up, but I'd love it to be Moss the boss. And I'll be danged if I can figure out who the bloomin' mole is. Could it possibly be the obnoxious adulterous geek keep fixing our attention on? Or could it...maybe, just maybe...be Jack's new sidekick's boss?

I'd forgotten about the blonde. I think you're on to something here, though I too would be hot to see Moss the boss be the one.

It'll be a baaaaad mistake, if Keifer decides to kill JB off. He won't be the first artist who's felt the wrath of fans after hurling a Death Booger at them: Arthur Conan Doyle, Sly Stallone (well, Rocky didn't die in V but did the next worst thing--retired because of brain damage!)...
I don't know. Jack has committed some serious crimes in the past - especially cold blooded murder for his own selfish reasons. I can see why Sutherland wouldn't mind killing Jack off when the series ends.

Vossler! Nooooo!
I was going to say, you posted recently that your dad knew who plays Vossler. Well, last night changes the "dyanmic" so to speak. Of course, never assume anything because 24 is, well 24!

Fab episode. 24's got its groove back on--just when you think they've let up on poor Henry, they sock it to him once again. TV Guide gave a Jeer to Jack's new female sidekick. But her transformation is holding my interest. And I'll be danged if I can figure out who the bloomin' mole is. Could it possibly be the obnoxious adulterous geek keep fixing our attention on? Or could it...maybe, just maybe...be Jack's new sidekick's boss?
Are you talking about Sean Hillinger, the FBI agent that seems a little too interested in what his boss is up to? I don't get it, I thought Moss is his boss, not the other way around. Hillinger seems a bit too noisy for his own good, and if he acted like that in a real world job he would be put in his place pretty quick, probably with a suspension or worse.
Yes, Hillinger seems very fishy to me, but maybe a bit too obvious to be the mole.
I'll make a pick way out of left field and say it's Chloe O'Brian number two, otherwise known as Agent Janis Gold!
