Also, having seen the QoS trailer, it's almost frightening how close NSR's imagery is captured. Particularly the rooftop chase and a fair skinned, sultry redhead.
Replace the Aston Martin with the Jaguar racing in pouring rain through the middle of Hyde Park with Police motorcycles on its tail, and you'll be amazed.
Final formatting going on now. I'm just super anal about any typo's and I need a certain someone to read it through and give their blessing.
"Got a problem with that?", she giggled. Bryce took her face in his hands bringing her mouth to his own; "No regrets."

She's done short of cover art and *perhaps* cover art or opening credits against some music, here we go.
Not to be posted until January 1, but....
Get ready for "None Shall Regret".
One last tease....well...two.
The tag at the end:
The end of "None Shall Regret"
but John Bryce (003) will return in - "Waste Not, Want More"
and now......
The tease from the acknowledgement page:
Cheers all. Happy Holidays.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Being a Bond fan isn’t easy.
Writing is down right tough.
Over the last year and a half, I began writing “None Shall Regret”. Spurred on by friends and members of CBn and the Bond community as a whole. The idea and my own style made the initial notion flow quickly.
What’s been the most terrifying part, but maybe in a sense, been grand is that many of the story elements mirror the latest film. Oddly, before any of the fan base knew anything of what became “Quantum of Solace”, it, hindsight being what it can be, was almost as if I was writing the future or at least a few parts of it. One of these days, maybe, Eon will hire me. They owe me something for over thirty–five years of PR.
This became my biggest fear in recent months with every picture/still and the footage I saw. Not to mention the storyline.
Anyway, I continued on and here we are. Now, that that’s out of the way, I have a number of people to thank for their support, advice and skills.
First and foremost, Fenna Geelhoed. A talented author in her own right, she has been a champion and supportive of my writings and her friendship and love mean the world to me. Thank you my dear. Never doubt you’re loved.
Sherman Wiggs….Nope….Never heard of him….Didn’t he play drums for the Tangerine Dream?
Just a few names that also spring to mind in my life and my life in the world of Commander Bond online.
The entire CBn Team…..Including the “Damn Cat”.
My friends: Jammie, Erik, Matt, Jen, Jeff, Deanne, Carla, Lydia, Kevin, Tara, Chad, Frances, Barney, Danelle, Gala and Karen.
My two big brothers - Chris & Donald.
All the attendees of the DTBB events.
Mrs. Mills – The lady who introduced me to 007, taught me how to make a High Ball and work a Zippo lighter and to always look into a woman's eyes when lighting her cigarette.
Finally, two ladies of great significance.
The very inspiration for “Lava Sterling” – Miss Cristianne Miranda. It was upon the night we met that she asked me to give her a Bond girl name. Not named for a Bond girl, but “my own Bond girl name”. A talented singer, lovely, long legged and she makes me laugh. You’re something else sweetheart.
Monique Parent – What’s a nice girl like you doing with a spy like me? Thanks for all the “Parent-al guidance”. As “Meredith (Merry) Chase”, you continue to be the most exceptional of pursuits…and it’s been wonderful to have captured you on the few occasions you granted me just a bit of “Malice” along with some “solace”.
Lastly, I wish to thank a few technical advisors but in an anonymous way – as is their preference. You know who you are.
A certain “man from the land of the rising sun” and expert on the I-400 class submarines. “Bryce-San”, as a worthless gaijin, bows to you.
A “Brother from Langley”.
A Major from the SAS who taught me the meaning of “Who Dares, WINS”. “Right Charlie…Now, back up the cliff…DOUBLE TIME MAN! WE’RE NOT WAITING FOR TEA!”
The “Silent Razor” – For his tips and twenty years experience in various forms and styles of martial arts and hand-to-hand combat coupled with his skills with edged weapons. “First rule of knife fighting: You’re going to get cut. Doesn’t mean you can’t win or won’t survive.”
A shapely brunette who taught me about J-turns in a Jaguar without “nipping the nose” and appreciating the swing of the “hips”. Not yours my dear, but the vehicles. Although your figure certainly could cause more accidents than your defensive driving tips. Believe me, the Secret Service is still weeping at the loss of your skill as an instructor when you moved on. A curse for them, but a blessing for me. Thank you.
The “Colonel” for keeping it real and his extensive knowledge of sniper rifles and firearms. Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast. No second place winner. Never hesitate. “Yes Sir, Colonel Sir. Three bags full.”
I salute you all.
There’s more to say but I’ll save it for the next novel.
Thanks everyone.

Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.
This is excellent advice whether behind the wheel or behind the trigger. I was given the same advice by Dick Turner, founder of the National Academy for Professional Driving, Inc. (NAPD).
That being said, I do very much look forward to this, my friend.

Damn it.... Got left out again!I'm not sure what song we're using, or how the credits will come about (paging Mister J*cks*n) , but, in the ultimate fantasy, and with whatever imagery, if NSR were to ever be filmed, the following are my "dream" credits.

Any news on this?
Erm... I believe Bryce is still nursing a hangover from New Year's Eve...
At least he didn't wind up like a friend of mine whose car was, shall we say, shortened by someone who ignored a red light.

My friend, whose RX-8 that was, is mostly unhurt; save sprained neck and whatever the chiropractor will find. I don't know if the obnoxious twit who had the audacity to tell my friend to "Chill out" after slaying her personally customised RX-8 was injured or not.
On a happier subject, has NSR been posted by any chance?

The start of new year brought about more "real world" issues for myself (note: the REAL world sucks snot through a dead man's anus) that have required more attention.
Just to tease, I've received word back from a certain source who has read what NSR became.
the verdict:
"Nail on the head Char. The last chapter had me on my feet rooting. Get this up on the site. 003 rocks. The sub stuff is amazing."
Doing my best as time allows right now.
Lava and Merry are equally excited.
I *think* I've got time this week to do it. *fingers crossed*
Thanks everyone for the support. Much appreciated.

Perhaps the most self indulgent thing I've done and I'll be turning the same age as Fleming when he "sat down to write the definitive spy novel" on Thanksgiving day here in the states.
Of the 100 copies I'm having done, better than half are already spoken for.
Here's the final back cover tease. I probably won't have them until mid January. *fingers crossed*
I'll share the cover art at Christmas for all.
Thank you all for the continued support.
"The cold hills of Wales, London's Chinatown, a tragedy in Monte Carlo, over the rooftops of Madrid, 40 hours of travel through seven cities, down the side of an active volcano and deep into the depths of the Pacific. Sunken aircraft, ancient submarines, old friends and new threats....But the only regrets will be of those that attempt to stop John Bryce...Because he'll have none."

Oh, my. I'm glad that this will eventually see the light of day - thoroughly enjoying the glimpses we've seen of it over the years. And VERY jealous of those that will get to read it in it's entirety!
Your copy is on the list. Not to worry Terminus.
