Almost thirteen months since I posted the first post in the thread (30 april 2007), and now we're only tree days away. It's an understatement to say I'm thrilled

We have you to thank for this other literary centennary tribute to Fleming - so thanks!

Yes, definitely. Thanks a lot for this splendid idea!

Thank you indeed, Mr Twilight! Which makes me think: I hope you'll be credited in some way in the collection for initiating this project?

It's May 28th, where is it? Will there be a splash on the CB.net main page? I want my Bond!

Ah, yes! I'm so caught up in DMC mania I forgot! Where is our other, long-awaited centennary tribute book? Look forward to reading what y'all have come up with.

That cover art is absolutely beautiful. It's a fine tribute to both Fleming and Chopping. I'll be waiting with bated breath until Monday. Thank you, Mister Asterix.

Superb cover.

Now, there are two names missing from the list on that cover.

Are there any concrete plans for the stories by Mr Stewart and Mr Boldfort?

Well, do concentrate on those that are there, but in answer to the question, one was a bit long and needs a little more work and one was a bit crap and needs much more. Be confident that both will appear in due course but please don't let their absence detract from what is an exceptional collection of stories. There's stuff in here that surpasses. The writers have done a fabulous job and are entitled to pride.

God, how I hope to live up to those standards. I'm joining the queue with sleeping bag and thermos flask (1 quarter coffe/3 quarters Bourbon).

Don't get touchy, Jim! It looks like we've at least one fan, that's something...
About the question: I don't know about Jim's story, but about mine, Jim and I agreed that it was maybe a bit too long for the short-story format (more of a novella in fact), and as the schedule was rather tight, it was better to consider it separately, to avoid delays. Besides, it will give me some more time to come up with a better title, maybe (this one is not the strong sleeve of the story). You should hear about it soon! Thanks for your interest.

Something came in mind last night; We should have asked the talented Rich Douglas take make a title song for Forever Yours, with regrets.
