3.the sight of a doughy Sean as he's about to mount Tiffany

I actually thought about that "hearty breakfast" shot...but I figured I could find worse. So glad you agree on this! :)

1. Sean Connery with an ash tray on his chest while in bed with tiffany. I believe the setting of that scene was in a double-wide trailer.

LMAO...no kidding! :P

1. Jack Wade's 'Okay, showtime'.
2. Jack Wade's 'I've never been to New Zealand... How's she know about that?'
3. Jack Wade's 'He didn't even say goodbye'.

All scripted and timed in poor taste.

There's other things not concerning Jack Wade (like Bond groping a Sumo wrestler's rear end), but most of them have been mentioned before.

No, actually... Pepper makes The Dukes of Hazzard seem like Don Giovanni. But I suppose Pepper was mentioned before in this thread, and as much as I love the Bond movies, I just have too many small (and large) gripes with the films to list them all here.

I forgot to add the scene in Moonraker where they are flying over Drax's astronaut training center. It reminds me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail when they finally make it to Camelot, then the servant says "It's only a model..."

1. Tonya Roberts trying to act
2. nearly-naked Grace Jones
3. Jinx's lips moving because I knew the next sound I heard was going to corny and make me cringe
4. Tracy's death. What a sad way to end an excellent adventure.

It's very funny - for all the classic Bond moments in the series, there are so many awful moments in there too.

I have to say, that even though the rear effects are appaling, Connery's facial expressions in Dr. No go a long way to recovering for the lack of technical effects quality.
I keep my eyes on Connery as he delights in the chase and the opportunity to run the competition off the road, and the background effects become just that. Background.

At least that works for DN. The out of control boat in TB is harder to handle.

The ones I was going to say were already mentioned (Grace Jones love scene, Blofeld dressed as a woman, and the bad CGI in Die Another Day).

Honorable mention goes to Halle Berry and Denise Richards for their wonderful performances. :cooltongue:

I agree with the general consensus that the Roger Moore/Grace Jones 'love' scene is absolutely horrific; nightmare inducing. I'll even go as far as to say any scene with Mayday in it was horrifying. That angular, plastic looking face, topped with almost styro-foam looking hair. The body that was beyond androgynous, bordering on mutation. Creepy.

My other picks would be:

3.) Blofeld dressed as a woman.- I happen to like DAF, but this was one of the most surreal moments in Bond history. It would rank higher on my list, if it wasn't so funny. My question is why was he dressed that way? It wasn't like he was outside of the car. Then again, this is the same movie that has a moon buggy chase, so it wasn't like believability was crucial.

2.) Scaramanga's flying car- When I saw that, TMWTGG went from being outlandish to plain dumb.

1.) Bond para-sailing into the 'future'(DAD)- This movie was bad in many ways, but this was perhaps the most horrifying moment for me. It looked like something out of any run-of-the-mill action movie. It was embarrassing.

Well, all right, given that we're doing horrifying and not merely stupid, here's the list. Sorry if they're redundant, but it's the honest truth.

1. Grace in Bed W/ Roger Moore. I believe Moore jokingly(?) stated that it was the worst stunt he ever had to do :cooltongue:

2. Cross-dressing Blofeld. Exactly why did he do this again? Couldn't he have just WW-floored his way on out? I can only imagine that he takes that "tedious journey" all the time for fun.

3a(TIE). Grave's Robocop suit. The second he turned around in that ridiculous, plasticy nightmare(complete with overly dramatic music no less!), I couldn't help but chuckle. The huge grin he's got when he turns around doesn't help either. It's as if the director wanted it to be a..."hahaha, now noone will be able to stop me from taking over the world" sort of grin, but it ended up being a "Look what my mom made me for halloween, neato!!!" sorta thing.
3b(TIE). Jaws's initial encounter with his girlfriend. The second she showed up, I knew something special was going down. By the time the music started to creep in, it was sealed. Bond had gone seriously kooky.

Honorable Mention goes to Roger Moore's "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH" bellow. While not horrifying, it makes me crack up everytime I hear it. It sounds more like someone capsizing a canoe then Bond.

So many bad moments already taken. Here are some more:

- Roger telling the tiger to "sit" in Octopussy
- The obviously miniature boat with fake mini-people towards the end of TSWLM (when Stromberg is heading back to Atlantis with Anya)

I tried to be creative on this and put some instances that hadn't been mentioned. So, here they are:

3.) Who wears short shorts? Apparently James Bond! Sean Connery's short shorts were uncomfortable for both the viewer and the wearer. Talk about a whole lot of hairy leg! The same goes for Lazenby in his extremely short woman's bathrobe. When he sat down on the bed, I thought that I was about to be acquainted with a part of George Lazenby that I never wanted to see. Yikes!
2.) The Third Nipple. Yeah, Scaramanga's extra nipple freaked me out as a child, and I still get the creeps to this day. Did that add anything to the plot or the character? I apologize to anyone that might have a third nipple, but it was an image that haunted me throughout my childhood years.
1.) Die Another Day!!! Sorry, I couldn't just pick one instance because the whole movie is something that I wish to erase from my memory forever. Bad special effects, bad acting, bad villians, bad gadgets, and a bloated and greying Pierce Brosnan. Don't think it can get any worse? Well, try a horrible theme song, an invisible car, and RoboGraves at the end. Bond had definitely hit bottom of the barrel with this travesty.

Help! Until I read this thread I hadn't realised exactly how many such bad Bond moments there are! I agree with most of the ones mentioned, unfortunately, some personal favourites being:
1) Connery's baby-blue onesie :cooltongue: .
2) Grace Jones. Why, exactly, was she in a Bond film?
3) DAD. All of it except the fencing.

Ooh, and special mention for Jaws and Dolly. Pure excrement.

1)roger moore doing the avtak
2)casting denise richards for eye candy instead of eye candy and talent. halle berry was nice to watch in dad and has talent in my opinion.
3)begging sean connery to do daf. he showed us what happens to those that spend too much time doing bond films.
