I am trying to watch them in their correct order, so Roger Moore is next up.
If I had to choose which one from 1973-2008 to watch, I would check out Licence To Kill. I have disliked it in the past as I have found the middle to be tedious, but I am anxious to give it another try. Unfortunately, since I am watching them in the order they were produced, I have to wait.

We've moved past years of Star Wars, Indiana Jones and the Japanese Godzilla movies and, finally (finally! Oh glorious moment!)they appreciate James Bond movies. Good times.
Interestingly enough, the kids (aged 9 and 8) love Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan but don't really care for the Connery movies, Diamonds are Forever aside. We watched Casino Royale together and, to my surprise, they loved it.

I quite fancy watching The Man With the Golden Gun tonight with my kids - if the missus goes along with it....it's become a bit of a tradition, the Friday night movie with a Pizza hut.

That's not surprising. Moore and Brosnan are the funniest Bonds and DAF is Connery's funniest Bond movie so I can see how younger viewers would prefer them. When I was a kid, Moore was my favorite Bond and MR and TMWTGG were my #1 and #3 Bond film respectively. I'm not surprised they would like CR also since its more recent. How do your kids like Dalton and Lazenby?

I want to try DAF, but I know I'll be disappointed. With all the talk of Lazenby doing the film; the reality is a poor substitute; the first real Connery parody.
So OHMSS it is then
Give DAF a try, Volante. I was skeptical, too, but I revisited it recently with low expectations and was nicely entertained. Seeing Blofeld in drag may send gin & tonic through your nose like it did mine. It's like hanging out with a boozy, Vegas hooker. Get in, enjoy it, leave quickly and try not to feel too guilty about having a smile on your face.

I'm with Eric. DAF has that cool psychadelic feel. It's a fun film and worth watching.I want to try DAF, but I know I'll be disappointed. With all the talk of Lazenby doing the film; the reality is a poor substitute; the first real Connery parody.

I'm gonna try Thunderball again tonight - if I get the chance - as I was somewhat underwhelmed last time I ever saw it.
