Keep your expectations low and you'll probably find it enjoyable.

That is some outstanding advice. I'm a big 007 fan but the quality varies greatly throughout the film series. (The 5 books I've read so far have been consistently very good.)

For me about 1/3 of the films are guilty pleasures, 1/3 are duds, and 1/3 are pure magic.

Maybe TMWTGG or LALD. A good Roger film is all I want.

The Man with the Golden Gun. I just watched "old Rog" a/k/a A View to a Kill and am now in the mood for "young Rog."

I have just returned from my local having been beaten in the pub quiz for the first time in God knows how long.

(yes, I know I should get a life!)

Right now I feel just like Bond after he blew that 10 million in Montenegro, so if I manage to stay awake I'll end up watching "Casino Royale".

Hopefully a brother from Langley will turn up next Thursday night to assist!

Want to watch Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace back to back.
Have to find the time to do it.

It will take a bit longer than you think, but it's worth it. I liked how it all comes full circle - CR starts with Bond waiting for an enemy in a darkened room and QoS ends that way.

I'm really in the mood for The Man with the Golden Gun today.

I think it's 2/3rds half-dark serious Bond, 1/3rd zany comedy!

Watching the Winter Olympics with the ski jump and men's downhill tonight has put me in the mood for For Your Eyes Only, at least the Cortina portion of the film.

Me too! I was right up for For Your Eyes Only after watching that, but my girlfriend begged me not to put a Bond film on; se we settled for Raging Bull instead.

That's way too long. Put them in your VCR or DVD player, pronto! B)

BTW, I'm a staunch Dalton fan(as my sig suggests).
