No, the bit Harmsway mentioned is most definately from the chase scene. As they also show Craig filming Bond running to his car, and I doubt he'd be running to his car if he were dying, at least not running the way he is in that clip.
Your talking about two separate shots, that have been edited together, they are not necessarily from the same sequence in the film.
Edit: just watched it again.
In fact you don’t see Bond running at all in the shot where he almost gets run down. In the shot with him running he has no tie, in the shot with him almost getting run down he has a pulled open tie. They are also in different places, the “run down” shot is on a different bit of road to the one outside the hotel.

They're from the same sequence of the film. Bond runs into the parking lot and almost gets run down by the abductors car.
Well, if you say so.

What do the other script readers think of the ending of the script and maybe the set? e.g. How does it differ from the book? Also, it would be good to get a small overview of the ending in spoiler code (as I don't know how to do it ) for those who havn't read it. (Understand if this isn't possible)
Thanks , GK

anyway, I love the ending, it's going to be a very cool Bond moment, one that will be remembered and talked about.

I read in Empire that it almost moved Gary Powell to tears!
p.s. I know I'm starting to sound like a complete computer idiot but I still can't spoiler code so if someone else who has read the script can post a quick overview of the ending, that'd be awesome, thanks

Vesper dies in a much more cinematically dramatic manner than in the book. It remains a suicide though. What do you think about the ending concerning Vesper and how it differs from the book?
Also, when people talk about "the ending" being potentially one of the greatest Bond moments, they tend to be talking about a different scene that follows Vesper's death in the movie

It's true. Bond will apparently almost be hit by a car twice - once when he's poisoned, and then later. Because you're right - in the "Filming the Casino" footage, that's from the poisoning.
They're from the same sequence of the film. Bond runs into the parking lot and almost gets run down by the abductors car.
Well, if you say so.
But where I'm basing on the abductor's car moment from is a series of photographs that was briefly posted and then taken down for legal reasons - it showed the majority of the pre-car chase sequence, including the abductor's car attempting to hit Bond (and in the photographs, it was a very different kind of attempted hit than we glimpsed in the "Filming the Casino" footage).

I think it worked very well in the script. The ending is especially moving... I can see Craig and Green acting the hell out of that and making it one fantastic moment.Basically:

He breaks down and sobs. It'll be a very moving moment.Argh put me out of my misery - what is Bond's immediate reaction? I mean when he (I assume) swims up. Distraight? Angry? Already numb and in 'the bitch is dead' mode?

Wow - so we WILL see Bond cry? More so than OHMSS?

I believe the images are still on Dedicated to Daniel MSN group
That scene will be very sad - I mean, Lazenby in OHMSS wanted to cry, he did cry - but he was made to do it again - this time Bond will cry.
