If they were going to title Bond 22 'Risico' I think they should have used that name in Casino Royale as the password instead of 'Ellipsis.' That would give away the title of Bond 22, but it would tie the two movies together (and Babs has stated that Craig's movies will more or less be a trilogy of inter-connected stories). However, since that obviously didn't happen (and I still wouldn't mind if they used 'Risico' as it's a Fleming title) but I would prefer 'Quantum of Solace' as it conveys Bond's turmoil after the death of Vesper - and again - it's a Fleming title. I can't state enough how strongly I feel all Craig's 007 movies should have Fleming titles. If his films were: CASINO ROYALE, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, and RISICO I would be a happy man (and PROPERTY OF LADY if they can entice Craig back for a fourth go-round).

I see your point, but "Ellipsis," while a cool word, wound up amounting to nothing more than a Miami Airport security code. That was the end of the significance of "Ellipsis."

I like "Quantum of Solace." If Bond is supposed to try to find out what organization Mr. White works for and avenge the death of Vesper, I think that would be a great title. Plus it's got a Fleming tie in.

Well you can scratch off both Risico and The Property of a Lady. It's neither of these.

It will be called
"Die the Death of Dealdy Kill"

Oh ya, and with that title, they decided to rehire Pierce Brosnan.

Quantum of Solace.

It has been said TPOAL and Risico are out of it, which is a shame, but Quantum of Solace has a dark, brooding nature to it that would suit Craig.

This might be blasphemy but...

What about a Gardner title for Bond 22? Perhaps "The Man From Barbarossa"?

I've always been a sucker for "Win, Lose, or Die" myself, even though it sounds like a title of a Brosnan film.

Here are some titles I heard were being considered (some of which may have already been reported)...

The Man with the Golden Ball

Diamonds Are Expensive

Your Finger is Not Enough

Ballraker

Never Say Pussy Again

Live and Let Live Forever

The Spy Who Mooned Me

Dr. J.W. Pepper

And the next rumored new unofficial Bond flick...

Licence to Kilt [Sean Connery returns as Bond defects to the newly created Independent Scottish Secret Service]

For a "cool", "minimalist" title (that, for once, would need no translating whatsoever for any markets):

007

Otherwise, I had a dream last night that BOND 22 was called HELL IS HERE. Upon waking, I realised that perhaps it could actually work, alluding both to Craig's post-Vesper angst and to the vengeful Bond's Your Worst Nightmare status vis-

That wouldn't make much sense. The password in CASINO ROYALE was for the Miami International Airport password, so I don't see why that would have any importance for BOND 22.

I'd sign up for that right now.

The fact that it is a chapter title of Fleming's from Casino Royale would make it a great tie-in considering the story leaves off from the end of the movie Casino Royale.

I love "A Whisper of Hate" as a Bond film title. It's directly from Fleming, it's got much more of an edge than any of the remaining short story titles that are left, and is certainly much better than any of the generic titles that we've been in given for recent films.

A Whisper of Hate would seem best suited for a Bond film out of all the Fleming story and chapter titles. Well, there may be a few more suitable chapter titles, I'd have to have a scan through them all.

For a compromise, as I do like the title Risico, I'll suggest Raising Risico or Risico Rising. Not that I think the new title will even be remotely similar.

"Blonde Ambition" That's a funny one! I'm not saying this because I'm against Craig though, and I'm not suggesting you are. Craig's great in the role. Still, a most humourous suggestion!

NOBODY DOES IT BETTER, I know it was already used as the title for TSWLM's theme song, but it's a great Bond title and I don't have any objection to having them reuse the song again for the title.

YOU KNOW MY NAME might be good, simply because of CR's ending (and the probable PTS for the next one). But, as much as I loved Chris Cornell's song and even with what I said above, I don't really think two film's in a row with the same song really works.

PROPERTY OF A LADY is perfect, simply because of CR's ending with Bond going over Vesper's things, and especially having something to do with her necklace and boyfriend, if they choose that route.

But I personally like my first choice the best. NOBODY DOES IT BETTER seems like a good title for a Bond film.

I think Property of a Lady would be great and most suitable! Don't really like Nobody Does it Better as a title. I think it sounds a bit corny.
