The 'Bond 22' Title...

Anyway, it doesn't include any of the dreaded words (Gold, Die, Yesterday, Kill, Tomorrow or whatever) and actually means something, in a Bond movie sounding kind of way.

I like it! If this is true then I can see how QOS fits in with Bond story arch. After losing Vesper in Casino Royale he is now retreating further into himself, closing himself off to the outside world - finding his own Quantum of Solace.

Exactly.

One is "Quantum of Solace", to be used in all non-USA countries.
The title for the USA will be "Da noo James Bond moofie wid dat Craig Daniels dood in it, yo"

I hope they do give us the title tommorow, I'm getting sick of calling it Bond 22.
Interestingly enough, http://www.quantumofsolace.com redirects to the Sony Pictures website. None of the other Fleming titles do this, http://www.thepropertyofalady.com takes you to a jewellry website, http://www.risico.comjust brings up search results for insurance websites and http://www.thehildebrandrarity.com just brings up a "404 - Page Not Found".
Excellent Work! (Q in Everything Or Nothing).
Great find.
The possibility that we get a title today seems more likely now.

But it is strange that they created this domain sep-07, and Craig said in Jan-08 that the film had no title (not even behind-the-scenes). And then we have the 007-rumour...

And if so, who might be playing them?

I can live with QOS if it actually turns out to be the title.
But it is strange that they created this domain sep-07, and Craig said in Jan-08 that the film had no title (not even behind-the-scenes). And then we have the 007-rumour...
Not strange at all. They may have decided ages ago, at least tentatively. And Craig may sometimes just have to lie in order to avoid hinting.
Hm...is it a stretch to say that 'quantum' sort of fits in with Craig's cryptic comment that the title was something to do with a number?
I think it does fit with that - not too much of a stretch at all.

I think you're all getting a bit carried away... I'm going to stick to my guns and say it won't be the title, simply because it it so unsexy and pretentious sounding. A Quantum of Solace??! It sounds like a eastern european art film.
No way this is the title.
Don't worry. You'll get used to it.

Someone aiming to make a bit of cash if that title is ever used I think! They may have missed a trick though as that domain would surely be www.thepropertyofaladymovie.com!I checked propertyofaladymovie.com and it was registered today (24-Jan) by a dutch design agency, rem-art.nl
That's very interesting Loomis. I'm intrigued! I do hope that we receive some news upon the significance of QUANTUM OF SOLACE as a potential title. This person also gave me an interesting reason why it was being considered (which I'm not at liberty to disclose but if it is indeed the BOND 22 title it'll surely come out very soon)...

Anyway, in almost every Bond movie the story had at least some connection to the novel. What could it be this time? Vesper and the Algerian as Rhoda Llewellyn and Philip Masters? Bond as the lover?
At least there should be this officials' party going on in the movie

I agree, I think thepropertyofaladymovie.com has already gone (probably to another speculator)!
Personally would have preferred Property of a Lady for Bond 22 and Quantum of Solace for 23, but there you go.

Why would the agency register this url?
I think that a forum member could tell us more about this....

Showed brief glimpses of filming including Daniel Craig leaping to a cable in an ornate, high-vaulted room and talking to a blonde girl by a computer in a high tech room backed by a circular staircase.

Wonder if the girl might be Moneypenny...
