I'm hoping for some other information: plot details and character descriptions
I'm hoping the opposite. I hope EON keeps the plot underwraps for as long as they can.
Same here. I just want to know what the title is. I'm saving everything else for the day it opens.
Agreed.
I hope they do give us the title tommorow, I'm getting sick of calling it Bond 22.
Interestingly enough, http://www.quantumofsolace.com redirects to the Sony Pictures website. None of the other Fleming titles do this, http://www.thepropertyofalady.com takes you to a jewellry website, http://www.risico.comjust brings up search results for insurance websites and http://www.thehildebrandrarity.com just brings up a "404 - Page Not Found".

Interesting about the QoS link leading to Sony. Have you stumbled upon a major clue? The game is afoot!

That is quite interesting. There has to be something to it, I would think. It would have to be a big coincidence if a Fleming title URL led to the website of the company that distributes the Bond films if there wasn't anything to it. Based on this, while I can't say for certain that this is the title of the film, I would almost expect them to announce "Quantum of Solace" as the title at the press conference.

THE GIRL FROM PANAMA
or
THE MAN WITH THE RETINAL TATTOO
or the like...it has a BookBond ring to it in the fashion of Fleming's TMWTGG or TMFB (Gardner) or TMWTRT (Benson).
Nothing wrong with that...It's not as if they have not "borrowed" from Gardner already. And, in fact, that Olga Kuryelenko (sp.) is so hot, the advertising campaign would sizzle with her all over the posters...and it could turn out to be very Bondian.

With this supposed trilogy arc, they could call Bond 22 "A Whisper of Love" and Bond 23 "A Whisper of Hate".
I doubt that'll actually happen, though.
That would be a very good idea. I doubt that they would go for that as well, but I would certainly settle for either of those two as a potential title for a future Bond film.

Great work, Cyclone.Interestingly enough, http://www.quantumofsolace.com redirects to the Sony Pictures website.
I'd be very happy with that as the title. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a red herring.

My hat's off to you for this initiative, Cyclone49! Excellent work.... Interestingly enough, http://www.quantumofsolace.com redirects to the Sony Pictures website. And, for what it's worth, Quatum of Solace would be my top pick. (The original Fleming is actually one of his better works, I also happen to believe; the meaning of the phrase even better.)

The web address for Casino Royale was www.casinoroyalemovie.com. I just tried www.quantumofsolacemovie.com and it alos led me to the Sony Pictures website.
I think that, in light of all of this evidence that is being provided, that Quantum of Solace will be the title for the film. It just seems to me that can't be a coincidence that, of all the websites that it could lead back to, the one that it does lead back to is Sony's website (unless, of course, they're doing that to trick us into think that QoS is the title).

Now, that's very interesting. This is the last of Fleming's titles that I would ever expect to be appropriated by the film franchise, but the fact that it redirects to the Sony Pictures website can't be a coincidence. Whether it's a decoy, Sony covering its bases, or the title of the next James Bond film, there's got to be something to this. Time will tell. Excellent find!

I hope this doesn't turn out to be a red herring. I guess we'll find out tommorow, hopefully.

Absolutely no chance or reason for the title being "The Emerald Sphere"! From the great detective work of others, I'd certainly put "Quantum of Solace" as the most likely title at the moment...So! On which title would you all bet????
A: 'The Property Of A Lady'
B: 'Risico'
C: 'The Emerald Sphere'
D: '007!'
E: 'Quantum Of Solace'

I am certain that 'Quantum of Solace' will be it. All this can't be a co-incidence, can it?
Here's hoping for some logo art of the title at the press conference.
Agreed. It can't be a coincidence, unless it was done to throw us off the trail of the real title (which I doubt).
I do think that we'll get some logo art tomorrow, but I'm fairly sure that it's going to be something very predictable, probably utilizing the "o" in "of" and "Solace" to form the "007" logo, similar to the style used for CR's logo.
