LOL! That hadn't crossed my mind. How's about starting a new trend and it'll be the first title-less movie. If cd's can do it why not.

Ok, so simply 007 it is. Lets keep it simple.

What are the last words of Bond in CR ? These are the new title :D

I'm sure you were referring to "Bond, James Bond".

But, honestly, "MY NAME IS BOND"? I kinda like it. Ties in with Chris Cornell's theme for CR, too.

ANOTHER DAY GOES BY?

With M and Admiral Reobuk making a reaperance? :D

Nice, Harkin.

Did anyone consider the title being '007 in New York?' It's an official Ian Fleming title, and it has a number in it. It's definitely an odd title for an EON film. Should it be considered?

I vote for a title found in another great website (it ring a bell):

Never dream of dying.

Eon can use the book's title without the story (they did it for FYEO or Octopussy).

Wouldn't that cross the Gardner estate quite a bit, though? :D

Actually, Craig did talk a bit much on TV again.

Craig made similar comment on BBC interview hinting "2008" may be the new title..Interviewer Bill Turnbull was convinced.

The title is 2008.

I think this was briefly discussed on the boards, but we ruled it out. For one reason, BOND 22 is not going to be shot in New York, thus rendering it practically useless!

2008? hum is that why Craig called the 007 stage 008? Just for me this is funny because even though I dont like "007" as the title I suggested it back in October as a response to all the Property of a Lady pushers.

I dont know what to think anymore. This may be where I love the movie and hate the title.

You know he could have just been babbling and referring to the fact that all we have is a working title of Bond 22..."its really just a number..." as he was paraphrased.

I read on CHUD that the title will be...

007

http://www.chud.com/...e=news&id=12925

That's been the rumor for the past couple of days.

Yeah I wondered this too. The only debatable point would be why he said that he had said "too much" and then stopped talking about it. Hopefully all will be revealed in the next couple of weeks.

LOL! That hadn't crossed my mind. How's about starting a new trend and it'll be the first title-less movie. If cd's can do it why not.

Now, that would certainly present a challenge to the marketing team.

They can take the Beatles approach and just have a blank white poster that says "James Bond" on it in subtle black script.

...and presumably will be known as "The White Movie".

That logo is pretty awesome. Don't know how I feel about that version of the title, but if it looked like that, I might come to like it.

I usually dismiss fan art as too amateurish, but that is a pretty good effort.

Well, IMO, if there is one thing that sounds amateurish, it's to name a Bond film after the current year... Hell, "2008"!!!! :D :P

Totally agree...it makes no sense whatsoever! I dont know where that one came from. Think about the DVD release "2008" coming in spring 2009...or even better the Bond 23 sequel "2010: The Year Bond Makes Contact"

...or worst of all "2010: The Property of a Lady"!

(coming spring 2009 to Lifetime - I still hate that title)

The simplest answer is always the right one. Very good point, Vaux. Didn't even think of that.
