This whole thread is a bummer. You guys are nuking my childhood memories left and right. I wouldn't erase any Bond film because while there are a few I don't like as much, every Bond film is an important part of the series' history and someone somewhere is fond of it and enjoys it and has nice memories of it. Why would I want to be so selfish as to "erase" someone's favorite movie just because it's not my cup of tea?
Okay, I think someone's taking this thread just a little too seriously.

I can see good things in my least favourite as much as I can see bad things in my top 10. I can happily enjoy them all.

Sacrilege!Goldeneye
I echo Blofeld's Cat's opinion. I'd keep them all.

Remove the tin whistle from the car jump in TMWTGG
Chop out the "Jaws turns good" element of Moonraker
When watching the rushes of DAD, turn to the CGI person and say "actually that sequence is all a bit rubbish"
Force George Lazenby to grow up, stop having a childish tantrum and have him do DAF
I'd like to think that I'd have pensioned Roger off after Octopussy, for the sake of his own dignity if nothing else... but I'm not sure that, as the film goes, even Timothy Dalton could have improved AVTAK much
Despite the elements that may make me squirm from time to time, I'd take any one of them to a Desert Island with me any day..

CASINO ROYALE (2006)
To each his own... obviously no accounting for taste, especially for those who have none.

I would go for 'Try Another Day'.

I have to agree with this it would of been cool to see Connery in OHMSS and Dalton in Goldeneye to Die Another Day.I would only want "erase" a few, so asto have them done with a different actor (OHMSS with Connery would have been a completely different film. Nothing against G.L., but Connery & Rigg, would have been great. Connery as Bond in it would have been interesting to watch, given the Connery Bond films right before it) or more seriously ( Casino Royale '67 ).
Being a major Dalton fan, I'd have like to see Goldeneye and Day Another Day done with Dalton.

Ironic that someone who calls himself (herself?) "FlemingFan" should choose one of the very few Bond films (alongside FRWL, OHMSS) to really do justice to its Fleming source novel.CASINO ROYALE (2006)
I wouldn't like to see any Bond film vanish. Each one is what it is, for better or worse. I wouldn't even wish NSNA to vanish, provided, that is, I don't have to clap eyes on it again.

EDIT: I’ve done it. I’ve made a deal with Baron Samedi and TPOAL has now no more. Never existed. Poof. I’ve saved all the Bond fans from it and all it cost was the soul of my one cat. And I think she was going that way anyhow.

roflI’d make The Property of a Lady vanish. What the hell were they thinking with that one? Whoopi Goldberg? The Flying Attack Undroids? Tim’s Toupé? M in drag? Bobcat Golthwait as Felix? I mean come on!

While I don't hate Brosnan or his films, I'd erase them from existence. They don't really bring anything new to the table.
I'm not much of a one to bump old threads randomly and aimlessly but... that is one hell of a statement!
Scary to think what the 2006 JimmyBond would do to films he hated!

thunderball. get it the
out of my sight. sorry, sean.
To each his own, but a Bond world without Connery's 4th and slickest performance as Bond, Claudine Auger's Domino and especially Luciana Paluzzi's Fiona Volpe is one I wouldn't want to live in.
As for me, I don't know if there are any I would want to vanish. A View to a Kill was the weakest Bond film(at least up to that point in the series) but without it we would not have had The Living Daylights as we know it now and I adore it as it is. Some list Die Another Day but without Die Another Day we wouldn't have Casino Royale as it is. It might even had starred Brosnan and I would not want that. If I had to pick one I'd say Quantum of Solace but replace it with a Quantum of Solace directed by Martin Campbell and with a stronger script to make it more consistent in style and mood to Casino Royale.

I ve always wanted to erase some of the films forever out of history.
These include: CASINO ROYALE (1967), DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, LIVE AND LET DIE, THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN, the second half of OCTOPUSSY, A VIEW TO A KILL
That would settle it for me because it would mean less creepy 70s aesthetics and even less camp Bond (despite that, I still keep MOONRAKER cause it was posh, it earned money and even Oscar noms if I remember correctly)
I thought Octopussy was a great film, same goes for LALD, but whatever. If I'd had to chose, I'd be DAF. That was an embarrassment.
Second off, CS isn't even a official Bond film so why even mention it?!
