Some shots I think look a little too much like a generic flick, like Bond and Vesper making out in the ocean, or the close- up of her legs when she comes out of the water. I mean, shots like this can look beautiful, I hope Campbell will be able to walk on that fine line.
But I find the choice of setting the gunbarrel inside a toilet, well, odd

But it's a nice composition for sure!
While that teaser doesn't get me overly hyped, and that's not only because I don't understand a word, I certainly get a good vibe from it. I had feared that Daniel Craig would look like Dolph Lundgren squeezed into a tux, but thankfully that's not the case.
What I find most impressing are the kind of "noir" shots at the very beginning, with the bathroom and staircase.
Of course these are the very first images, and I can only judge them and not the finished film, but the reason I'm not too hyped is (once again) the emphasis on action. So, my hopes of getting a hybrid between TLD and LTK are fading, but let's have a look at the positive aspects: the explosions have been exchanged for hand combats (this time around without lasers), the flipping, invisible Aston Martins for a normal one and boats, and instead of fighting a Darth Vader/ Emperor clone he's playing poker. For me that's a progress.
To be honest, this looks very much like a grittier version of GoldenEye, which is a good thing.
This year we'll have the direct comparison between M:I III and Casino Royale, and I'm curious whether Bond can still set the bar for stylish trademark stunts (and I'm not talking about the DAD boom-o-rama).
