You know what? He also looks just like the Spocket character, Mike Myers played on SNL.

LOL! I was thinking the same thing! I can imagine him asking Bond if he wants to pet a monkey or make love to a Violin or something.

Anyways, I like this look. He's definitely the creepiest looking Bond villain that comes to mind (with the exception of Sanchez, but he was all natural.) CR is going to be a great film and I can't wait for more pics.

Sorry but I don't like. He looks more nerdy than scary.

Wow, Daniel Craig really looks horrible.

Just kidding.

Pretty scary looking. Not sure if this is real or not, but it's definitely ballsy.

I just don't like how repetitve scar face villains are. Blofeld, Zorin, that guy against Dalton, Trevelian, Zhao, now Chiffre.

Wow! It really looks like Eon is heading down the right path one this one. Mads looks awesome and just as creepy as I imagined Le Chiffre. I'm one giddy James Bond fan, I must say.

Looks eery. Like a cross between Conrad Veidt's Cesare in The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Gary Oldman's Zorg in The Fifth Element. Mr. Mikkelsen has a real chill about him, the uneasy stare of a man who's all brains and no heart. I have yet to see him act, and I'm curious about his voice.

Well... I've never seen an all-black tux before. Interesting.

But man, does Mikkelsen look like a terrific Le Chiffre. Menacing and ruthless, with a nice piercing gaze.

I don't recall Zorin having a scar. The new high-res pic from LatinoReview is fantastic. I do like the all-black tux! There may be more to Le Chiffre eye than just a scar, perhaps something a bit more sinister.

I could live without the scar and pigment damage to the eye - maybe a little over the top for what I expected CR to be. But Craig did say they're "making a Bond film, first and foremost" so, by that standard, I guess we should expect the villian to have some unique over-the-top characteristics.

Whatever really.. the important thing is that the slime factor is present in LeChiffre, and Mads has it cranked up to 11. Great job!!!

Yup. I think the eye is very Flemingesque. Fleming's Bond stories always had that "element of the bizarre" and it's good to see CASINO ROYALE follow in that tradition.

Does he? Where did you hear that? I like it!

It's in the leaked script. I like it a lot too - it's delightfully creepy.

You guys need to put that into a SPOILER. That wasn't in any of the script reviews.

EDIT: I think that Mikkelsen (sp?) looks like he'll make a very good Bond villain after seeing some different pictures of him. The ones that we've seen since the first one in the thread are all very good and are a, hopefully, a sign of good things to come for this film.

I deleted two posts (and edited another), which relayed very spoilerish information. Would rather not have to do that, so as a reminder: all posts containing spoilers should be posted in the spoilers forum, or at the very least be identified as containing spoilers (and using the spoiler text masking function).

Thanks for your ongoing cooperation.

He says right there that it wasn't in any other review and posting links to copies of the script would be pretty frowned upon (unfortunate for people like me :D).

Interesting. I think he looks pretty cool, although ever so slightly reminiscent of Graves in the profile shot. I thought the full-face picture looked better. But either way, he looks suitably villainous...

Now I see why Brosnan ain't back. If he were it would look like Graves lived to die anothe day and see that he survived his encounter with the turbine engine with little more than eye trouble.

He looks like the closest to a David Bowie type of villain. Serious, emotionless and probably downright nasty.

Not the kind of fella you want to get into trouble with, let alone have yer knackers tinkered around a tad by.
