Well, if true, that's a pretty big "tell" when playing cards...

Hey, forget the Mads pic...does anybody know if that teaser poster on the main Latino Review Casino Royale page is the real deal? I dunno if it's been confirmed or denied before, but damn...I sure hope it's real! And if not, kudos to whoever did it.

THAT is a sweet poster.

It's not the real deal at all. It was an April Fool's joke poster on behalf of LatinoReview.

Never mind, my bad. I just caught the "date" on those posters. Damn.

Ooops. Looks like Harmsway beat me to my impending embarassment. Still, I dare EON to make a poster even half as nice as those.

Like the scar, very retro-Bond (Blofeld from YOLT, anyone...?).

My thoughts too. I'm not too keen on the scar - but I'll wait and see the movie before getting worked up about it.

I'm sorry, you'll do what??!!?!

but I'll wait and see the movie before getting worked up about it.

I think you'll find that such moderate, reasonable, logical behaviour is completely out of place. Surely it would be more fitting to start a girly tantrum website along the lines of idon'tthinkilikelechiffresscar.com, or maybe you don't belong on this forum?

I like this look a lot. The scar and black tux bring a bit of fantasy into what otherwise could become an overly-realistic film (a la LTK).

Exactly, Dalton's films were really good IMO, but they lacked that extra touch of fantasy and larger than life...ness.

That is, I believe, the main reason LTK was less popular. Though it still made a lot of money.

Only if you like your Bond as a drag queen.

I think that these two pictures look much better than the first one. If he looks like he does in these two pictures, then he'll be fine. I think that he was a bit too pale in the first picture and he had a bit too much lipstick on, but with these two pictures, the paleness isn't as overdone and his lips don't stick out as much.

This is intentional I believe. Le Chiffre is described as having very pale skin and a small feminine mouth. Actually.. looking at his description in the novel and comparing with the picture, it's close or close enough.

"Complexion very pale. Clean shaven. Hair red-brown, 'en brosse'. Eyes very dark brown with whites showing all round iris. Small, rather feminine mouth. False teeth of expensive quality. Ears small, with large lobes, indicating some Jewish blood. Hands small, well-tended, hirsute. Feet small. Racially, subject is probably a mixture of Prussian or Polish strains. Dresses well and meticulously, generally in dark double-breasted suits."

Compare with this.

His hair in some pictures (same picture just different quality) looks more red and his skin even more pale. Like the AICN one.

man... can this film get any cooler..?
havent had any news for a long time i was going a bit crazy, was just about to chew my arm off below the elbow when DING! they release this .. hopefully the first of many a leaked production shot over the next few weeks..

this guy looks like the darkest, most repellent Bond villain in ages. Plus Mads is an intense actor..not too theatrical.. just cold.

a single tear of blood from his eye...that is messed up!!!! could play brilliantly into the plot too.. and be both unsettling and also rather classicially bond villainish.. something not quite right, asexual, unnerving, ruthless, sadistic.. i see all this stuff in this guy.. hes like the anti-Bond.

I cant wait to see Daniel Craig's Bond up against this scary severe looking chap.

Imagine this dude torturing Bond?!! christ. he looks like he would get off on it doesnt he? .. ( sorry , but its true..)
Interesting to note that if you look at Mads, and the actors cast as the henchmen throughout the movie.. ( and theres lots of 'em!! ) they all look somewhat cadaverous and severe, or just plain physically odd and facially eerie ( not sure that makes sense but hey ..). Particularly noting the earlier spoiler casino set shots.. this seems to be a theme.. I'll be rooting for Bond methinks.

Come to think of it most bad guys are played by evil looking dudes..

please make this as good as we all hope it will be...

Mads is actually fairly close to the description, although he's obviously thinner and doesn't look particularly Prussian or Polish.
