It appears that Tim is playing a supermarket manager in Hot Fuzz. Cant say he doesn't like a bit of diversity in his roles

For the rest of the roles here's a link ..

i am definitly looking forward to it. shaun of the dead is one of my favorite films so i would see it even without dalton but his addition just makes it look even better to me.

have just discovered this project in the last few days, found the Blogs via Pegg's IMDB profile, have got to say I am mega-joyous to see a follow-up to Shaun of the Dead! Pegg is the shot of adrenaline British Cinematic comedy has needed for quite some time! brilliant stuff!

Video blog 8 is out though I had a lot of trouble watching it for some reason. Peter Jackson is in it !.

I dont think we will get to see anything of Tim in these as there has been no other stars in the blogs apart from Simon, Nick and Edgar.

Tim's character is apparently called Simon Skinner.

C'mon, thats not fair!! More info please ....

Apart from he apparently kept popping up in pubs in Somerset, there really is very little info !

Only joking, I understand if you have to be tight lipped.

It does look very funky. Saw some shots of Simon Pegg the other day which were very funny. Role on Feb 2007 ( or is it March ? )

Hi Lady Rose!

Yes, we worked with Mr Dalton on Hott Fuzz.

We REALLY can't go into specifics, but Mr D was a seriously charming man, who always greeted us in a cheery fashion whenever we turned up on-set.

Hott Fuzz itself is set to be a great movie!

BTW, it's out in the UK in Feb '06 and in the US in Mar '06

Oh, Royal Dalton - love your moniker! :D

Here is a recent interview with Edgar Wright and Nick Frost about Hot Fuzz from IGN. They mention working with Tim.

Yes!! I am so happy to see Dalton in a great looking movie again. I can't wait to see how he handles himself with Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg's style of comedy. Should be a fun departure from his usual drama works.

Timothy Dalton's in a new film, which looks good- which bit aren't you following?

Hmm...the "which looks good" part I guess. :P I dunno, it just didn't do anything for me. From this thread I was expecting it to be more Dalton-centric instead of him appearing for half a second and saying one line (which I didn't even understand).

It's not asuper-cracking trailer, but I'm expecting the film to be bob-on.

And for the record, the 'fuzz' is Brit slang for the police; hence Tim's line.

I thought "fuzz" was American slang. There you go, I learn something new everyday.

Wasn't Burt Reynolds in a movie called FUZZ?

Been looking forward to this film for ages - big fan of Shaun OTD! :P

Tim looks good too, nice moustache. :) Great cast they've got lined up.

I honestly don't know anything about his role in this but I'm guessing its some sort of corrupt supermarket owner judging by the people standing behind him and how sinister he looks. Thats him being knocked backwards by Simon Pegg (AKA Nick Angel) a few shots later too.
